Opioids O-DSMT Megathread

Hey guys! Quick opinion question. I really love opiates, and I'm an IV heroin user/addict. My tolerance isn't massive but it's pretty big compared to where I started. Is there a cross tolerance with o-dt and traditional opiates/opioids? I'm wondering if I should place an order because I want to play with this stuff but I don't want to find out I'm practically immune to it because of my godamn tolerance haha
 
OF course there is a cross-tolerance. That said, I found 100mg very enjoyable (IV) and I usually iv 12-18mg dilaudid at a time.

Right on thanks man. Yeah I figured there would be cross tolerance but thought maybe it wouldn't be as extreme as with traditional opes cuz tramadol and o-dt are weird ones haha
 
I just got my paws on some O-DMT and I'm QUITE excited to try it. I'm not expecting miracles, but I have an open mind. I've been a daily Oxy user for 2+ years, recently off and through w/d (thank you Kratom).

I'd like to know what to expect in the way of euphoria from the viewpoint of someone used to Oxy euphoria (which is subjectively intense).

Also opinions on starting dose? I had a tolerance of about 60mg at once (not a high tolerance, but still a tolerance).

If I were to find a few 30mg pills, I'd probably at least do 1 still. So what do you guys think 30mg of Oxy would be in this new chemical? I'm going to do like 10-20mg at first just to check for allergies/bad reactions, etc. Then I'll wait a few hours for my first real dose. Most likely insufflated.

According to this calculator..., 30mg oxycodone PO -> 225 mg codeine PO with a 25% cross-tolerance reduction, which is equi-ANALGESIC to tramadol. And if O-Desmethyltramadol is 2-4 times the potency as Tramadol, that would put you at a range of 56.25-112.5mgs PO. There was a LOT of speculation there, so keep that in mind. I had to convert from oxy-codeine-tramadol, and then give you a figure based off of an estimated potency of this new substance. I would probably do 50mg and then see how it goes from there if you're snorting it as it's below the lower range value and I already factored in a 25% reduction for cross-tolerance.

Oh, and the way you called it O-DMT made me think of 5-MeO-DMT lol...
 
I didn't like the way these results looked, so I'm gonna let you configure your equianalgesic dose...It had an option for chronic, and an option for acute methadone use. THEORETICALLY...follow this formula to get a gauge put your dosage into the calculator and convert it to codeine. If you take that once per day. I would recommend you divide that by 4 (so 30mg) and then put into the calculator; be sure to have a cross-tolerance reduction of at least 25% if not 50%. After you get your methadone->codeine figure with cross-tolerance reduction (codeine and tramadol are equi-Analgesic so that's what I'm basing this off of) divide this number by 2 to get your upper limit dose and then divide that dose by 2 once more to get your lower limit dose. This is based off of the theory of codeine and tramadol being equi-analgesic and that the potency, as stated earlier in this thread, is 2 to 4 times that of tramadol.

Like I said, there's a lot of assumptions in this formula. Experiences will vary. And for the umpteinth time this has been said on BL: EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT!

I thought this was speculation, albeit well-educated speculation. Are there actual experimental results available? If so, links?

Any idea how the euphoria of O-DMT should compare to Oxy? I have to wait several more days until my order arrives.

I'm excited, but unsure of just how excited to be.
 
Tramadol clonazepam with O-desmethyltramadol - tolerance high, naive to O-des

I've just been prescribed Tramadol for depression after a very long serious dialectic meeting with my biological psychiatrist. Tramadol should be used for a variety of mental illnesses including depression. He wasn't really willing to do this until I explained some key points, figures of addiction rates *(2.7%) and brought a paper entitled "Examining the use of tramadol hydrochloride as an anti-depressant" written in 2011 by Justin Barber. This should be read by anyone who thinks opioid should be considered for the treatment for depression, in particular refractory. It delves into it being helpful against ADHD, OCD, anxiety and depression ..... some german shrink does specialise in opiates/opioids for depression, not too far from me here in Holland.

I'm not really into abusing drugs anymore as my personal motto is "Abuse and be prepared to be abused". I would like occasional recreational opioids like O-desmethyltramadol, I don't go near the heavy stuff. It seems its not so similar to Tramadol after all reading your and other experience reports. Instinct and reason tells me it would or may negate Tramadols effects. Can anyone offer an opinion as regards to it 'blowing tramadol away'. I should mention i previously self medicated with huge success with Tramadol for 2.5 years and obviously have plenty of CYD2P6 hanging round the liver - is this made by amino acids?

I intend on juggling my Tramadol use every month from 400mg a day down to 100-150mg for a week to avoid tolerance even if it does still work like an anti-depressant once tolerance develops to opioid effects. Venlafaxine is a copy of Tramadol - go look at the structures and then argue if you don't believe me. That's how it feels when tolerant, like Effexor. Adding a small dose of O-Desmethyl to tramadol also is an idea of mine. My shrink pretty much writes the scripts I want as he has respect for me, most would if I unleashed my life story. But I only ask for reasonable scripts not Oxycontin and 10mg xanax that would undepress a nuclear bomb exploding.

So say 10mg?~ O-Desmethyl with 200mg Tramadol, how do people feel about this combo? Oh I'm prescribed 2 mg clonazepam also a superb anti-anxiety & anti-myoclonus med with the most terrible withdrawal I've been through. Thanks for reading and an advanced thank you for opinions even speculation.
 
I don't know if this post is allowed (please go ahead and delete if it is in violation of the rules in any way), but I'm already sketched out of trying it because I'm not sure exactly what has arrived in my mailbox. I've never ordered an RC before, so I'm not sure if this is how they typically ship them from outside the country, but my "O-DMT" arrived in a plastic, sealed package labeled as an iphone scratch eraser with marketing and whatnot right on the packaging.

Huh? Did I just get ripped or is this how RC's are shipped? Once again, since I've never seen a question like this asked I'm assuming I may be asking too much, so please delete if I can't ask this, but I'm a bit scared to even try it because it looks like I got scammed. There is roughly 1 gram of "substance" inside this marketed packaging however. IDK. There's also paperwork in chinese and english suggesting toxicity and to wash off the face or hands if in contact with skin. Weird?
 
Well, where I ordered is supposedly one of the most well-known suppliers of RC's and has a lot of good reviews through google. It does say on their site they ship in discrete packaging (which could I guess mean "deceptive" packaging)?

I snorted the smallest amount of dust possible I could collect with tweezers and noticed the distinct acetone taste and mild burn/sting others have reported here, so I'm assuming it is O-DMT and that the supplier is overly cautious/deceptive about packaging. It's kind of an off-white, clumpy powder. I just expected an unmarked plastic bag filled with substance.

I'm still going to approach this as cautiously as I can since I have no access to lab testing, but this is definitely one instance I wish source discussion was allowed as it relates directly to harm reduction. If what I have is some fake or possibly harmful substance, I may not find out until it's too late. :(
 
Forgive what might seem an opiate-naïve post, I just want to share my experience of o-dt withdrawals. I haven't had opiate withdrawals before.

I let myself get a bit undisciplined of late and after two or three months (who's counting) of regular but interrupted dosing in the 50-100mg range, last week I dosed every night then binged a bit on Saturday night - 200mg combined with 2-3mg etizolam, alcohol and MPA with a friend, we did amusingly embarrassing things, enjoyed mild amnesia but had a good time generally. Thinking I needed a break, I ceased the rectal injections. Come Tuesday I was in no doubt that I was feeling withdrawals - mild depression, sniffles and restless legs spreading to the rest of my body. But after four nights abstinence these symptoms are mostly gone.

edit: I have had a taste of this before, specifically sniffles and RLS, but not to this severity and I haven't felt the depression before.

Tonight I dosed 55mg (on top of a now unusual five pints of beer) and it's hit me noticeably harder than it would have last week. So tolerance seems to reset quite quickly.

I'm very pleased to say I was one of the first to leave the pub, despite the occasion being my work's leaving drinks. Before starting my ethanol replacement scheme, I would have been there to the end of the night and beyond, but I've quickly become intolerant to drunkenness.

I've found regular evening use of o-dt leaves me very tired during the following afternoon. If I've slept 01:00 to 08:00, then I'll be fine until around 14:00, after lunch, then I think the NERI effects fade off (or my brain just finally succumbs to the effects of poor-quality sleep) and I'm left struggling to keep my eyes open - I've been at my desk working at my computer, and sunk into a dream-state with my eyes open, half my mind still on the work task, the other half engaged in flights of fancy. Alertness returns only with time - I can take a walk to try to shake it off and I'll be fine for the duration of the exercise but as soon as I'm back at my desk, bang, my eyelids become like lead. I know this time is the post-lunch carb-crash, but it's never been so bad and so consistent! As soon as I started my four-night break, however, this effect was gone.

My o-dt has been brilliant-white, (very) fine free-flowing granules, never clumpy off-white powder.

It tastes slightly sweet.

If in doubt, bin it. If reckless, start off with very small doses.

I would expect a reputable vendor to provide their product in a clearly marked package. Not disguised or deceptive.
