Aha, yeah you're right. Can be substituted with "fucking rocks" usually. Also the variant FTMFW is "for the motherfucking win" for those who like a bit more swearing..
 
FTW = Fuck the world.. lol It's a very common tattoo for punks and skinheads. Just about everyone I know has FTW tattooed on them somewhere. ACAB is another one.. All Cops Are Bastards. hehe

Such negativity! Why can't they have nice tattoos that say "I wuv kittens" or somesuch?
 
Most people these days use it to mean for the win. I prefer fuck the world though :D

Well, alot of people have "happy" tattoos and tattoos that aren't so "happy"... Every tattoo I have tells a story or means something that has happened to me in my life.... Unfortunatly life isn't always happy. I am sure at some point in time everyone gets that FUCK THE WORLD feeling... Then there's times where people don't feel that way. I'm not a "negative" person, but I do feel negative from time to time. haha
 
I'd just prefer to have a positive message indelibly stained in my skin if I was to have anything at all. "Fuck the world" is a pretty pessimistic slogan imo (although I'm now thinking of it in the sense of sexually engaging all of reality and it's kind of cool).
 
I still prefer just sticking my dick through holes in the wall, but I'll let you guys fuck the world or go for wins or whatever.
 
I'm yet to get a tattoo but if I ever did the only two things that have seemed like something that I wouldn't mind having on me forever is either some form of the Litany Against Fear from Dune;

I must not fear.

Yay, tattoo-talk!

I have "freedom" in sanscrit on my right shoulder (I know, I know, but it does have a meaning for me and sanskrit is an awesome and beautiful language.. and I've had a few Indian guys read it to me in clubs etc so I know it definitely says that!) and a half-butterfly-half-flower geometric design I'd been doodling all the time during the best summer of my life on the inside of my left ankle.

Getting a huge geometric piece on my other shoulder and down my back by this guy when I have funds.

In the more immediate term I'm going to get an oldskool swallow on my right leg - I'd always wanted one, and Dave knew I did so he chose me a birthday card with the most perfect oldskool tattoo swallow design. Good way of remembering him without something too OTT or that I would regret, I think..

I <3 getting ink :D

Might have to get a needle stuck through a random part of my ear again soon..
 
No fucking idea Mugzy, sorry.. looks cool though, hah!

If I was to get words inked on me it would be "this too shall pass". Loved it for a long time and quite a few people have been saying it to me lately (thanks YPDH :) ) Or maybe "hope will find you", which is written on a picture I have up in my bedroom..
