Fukin hell no wonder we got so many folk on benefits , even the shit jobs want to know everything , full CV no gaps when you last had a wank the lot .

its horrendous brimz. when i was thinking about quitting i put my cv online. i have a degree that requires high level competencies in 4 subject areas, from a top 30 (in the world) university, an MSc in a subject that I had little previous background in from a similarly ranking uni, and got offered an admin job paying less than my grant. the woman offering it to me sounded like she was telling me i won the lottery, then had a massive go at me for my disdain. the bitch probably doesn't even understand half the words on my cv.
don't even think about it if you don't have to. unfortunately at the moment, i do have to.... not for me, but its fucking depressing nonetheless.

But made me think how fuked up this really is , you obviously have invested a hell of alot to get where you are.
Me i'm not daft whatever folk might think , but i don't stand a chance , the only thing i can envisage getting paid for is work in the drug field .
i have already been told by 2 different key workers that i have more knowledge and compassion than the peoplr that are training the volunteers atm.
But made me think how fuked up this really is , you obviously have invested a hell of alot to get where you are.

yep- i think the situation has to implode soon. otherwise the next lot of riots will be civil war. i'm confident when i've finished my current course i'll find something good and well paid, but thats after 9 years of university education and given i'm in no way guarunteed to get the qualification i'm working towards, thinking about it is very stressful.
the other option is to lie. the agencies are really incompetent and check up on nothing, and given what cunts they are i wouldn't consider it any moral dilemma.
i think you could definitely get work in the drug field, so if that interests you it would be good, though having to be part of the total fucked up system that we have for anything drug related would be pretty depressing.
