Television Breaking Bad

The creator has said you can think what you like about Gus being gay, but it wasn't his intention to make out that he was. The name of the episode is 'brothers' I think? In the absence of family his reaction to someone he views as a brother the reaction was entirely justified even if he wasn't gay.
 
This season keeps getting better every week.
I really wonder where they're going to take it.
I read an article about this season in Newsweek and they described a scene between Walt and Jesse and it seemed to imply that Walt tells Jesse that he watched his girlfriend die.
If so, that will be some crazy shit.
 
SHOW GETS BETTER AND BETTER every episode! Words cant describe how much i love this show. Havent been so enticed in a series since Oz. Last episode was DOPE. Scene with Gus at the end was ridiculous. Favorite show by far, up there with Sopranoes.
 
Gustavo is PERFECTLY cast imo.... He is so creepy, obsessive compulsive, and the perfect villain. Up until the last episode where you actually start to feel sympathy for him and understand his motivation for his actions....

Also, I want to hump Aaron Paul.
 
just started watching this. 20 minutes in on the first ep of the first series and im drawn straight in.

You guys who are just starting are in for a wild ride.
I have the first two seasons on DVD and I think I'm going back to watch the early episodes after this season is over.
 
^ Yeah, I'm definitely going to re-watch the first three seasons after this one is over...before a good torrent for the fourth season comes out.
 
^ I don't get AMC, so I download every episode. By 11:05 EST there's a good (quality-wise) torrent on the go. The massive peer:seed ratio at first makes it slow, but I just watch it the next day and in the meantime make a specific point of not opening this thread.

Another kick-ass episode. Everyone in Gus' organization is getting fed up with Walt. Jesse being his only true ally, which he showed when he was in Gus' house. Walt's invasion of Jesse's privacy pissed him right off of course. Walt kept pushing Jesse to do it quick but Jesse never had a good opportunity.

Walt's getting what's coming to him. Tracking Jesse was ridiculous. It makes me sad that Jesse is "no longer on speaking terms" with him but it's obvious why he did it.

I wonder what's going to happen to him next. The people he works for don't like him (or his trips with DEA bro-in-law), and now even his partner doesn't like him; but I still don't think Jesse will truly fuck over Walt; as Amor said; not in his character DNA.
 
Have we ever seen a character as bad ass as Gus? Holy fuck, that scene was crazy. The look in his eyes was fucking intense.

this is a fucking masterpiece of a series. on episode 5 i think, of series 1. the way this is filmed is art. the acting is flawless
 
series 1 finished, just bought the 2nd. havent watched anything this good for a long time. think the band of brothers and the sopranos are the only things that come close

Definitely the two greatest shows ever made. I prefer Breaking Bad, but The Wire comes in as a very close second. Breaking Bad didn't surpass The Wire until after season 3, however. Season 3 of Breaking Bad blew my fucking mind. I suppose season 3 of The Wire did as well (it was the best season by far), but Breaking Bad was better.
