i thought my fellow PDers could appreciate this

That is really, really cool. For the record, 20mg MXE is spot on for a hangover cure and is no doubt adding to my appreciation of this link.

Too many beers last night. :p Well actually, only 8, but that's enough to make me feel rough in the morning. Dunno why, perhaps because I am very skinny. Anyone skiving off today?

I played this game the other day. Nice little puzzle game that's rather trippy. http://www.robotjam.com/synapsis-2/

Me too brother, except I'm not skinny. I had six (seven?) beers, but three of those were pints of stong IPA. Seems whenever I wake up hungover recently I have a sinus headache, one of the most annoying hangover symptoms. I think hangovers are a good deal due to dehydration, gotta remember to drink more water before I fall asleep when drinking. Time for water, vitamins, and coffee. I wish I were still smoking weed, because I would have smoked a bowl and slowed down drinking before having those last couple of beers.

looks like a neon sign for a futuristuc club.. nice :) thanks! also the superflow link. thats awesome!

I find that acronym pretty fitting, lol

more of a dreamer and substance user to understand what sobriety is, but my times of it being forced were a nightmare. I like to have a lil' something during the day to perk me up. I get bored if I dont and that leads towards a spiral of things I'd rather not deal with, escapism, lol. Im not a drug addict by my friends and my standards. Lately I just use Gabapentin, Hydroxyzine and Cannabinoids, maybe some booze. I dont trip as often as I used to, usually save those days to try something new thats offered.

Life has been hard this past year, but Im getting all my ducks in a row.
It seems like im always chasing something i dont have, ahhh fuddle possessions.

I'm in the process of trying to quit the cannibinoids, need to clear my mind so I can interact more professionally (hah!). Just finished moving 900 miles away from my home of 22 years. Here goes my next great adventure.

I felt like in my case, trying to fool myself into thinking cannabinoids don't produce something that should be considered a addictive habbit is bs. Honestly other than paying probably twice as much to hold myself with 4-5 day of opiates everyweek, cannabinoids had a lager effect of my daily functions by making me a lot lazier than I all ready am. I really have no problem being productive on opiates unless I'm nodding out. medium dose of opiates help with my ADHD, and motivation issues., while weed may help with my ADD, but destroys my cognitive capacity as well as make me lazy

Well weed doesnt necessarily make me lazy... just makes it easier to accidentally do nothing all day. But I can be just as productive (if not more at times) while high. My problem is that I already have some amounts of social anxiety and difficulty interacting with epople I'm not very close with while sober. When I am stoned it gets worse by a looooot and going out to do Anything that involves interacting with other people becomes quite difficult. At this current point in my life I REALLY need to be able to go out and communicate with other people. You are right though, I love pot and I have a hard time truly allowing myself to accept the negative impact it can have on certain areas of my life and end up finding it hard to not just sit down and get stoned.

I really don't want to attribute the negative effects of weed on to others, especially here on bluelight as there are alot more intelligent drug users here, but I would watch so many of my friends who are daily smokers struggle with life's obligations. They'd always say that weed doesn't effect them in such a way, but imo if your a everyday smoker and not just taking one little puff here in there you will have a negative effect whether you want to realize it or not. One of my good friends is struggling with school and is complaining about short papers (3-5 page) which is ridiculous to hear when you have one to three lab reports that are between 6 and 12 pages long everyweek. He smoked all day everyday and wonders why hes not doing that great in school. Drinking alcohol multiple times a week def doesn't help either.

It's true though, weed can make it easy to be at your laziest. I've always been sort've of the opinion that you can turn the weed high in a lot of directions depending on your personality. I can sit there with my vap going and spend all day churning out an awesome lab report.... just have to make the conscious effort to not fall into the laziness I guess (if you can remember to hah). I've definitely tried to ignore the negative aspects for most of my weed smoking career and have more and more recently been much more accepting of it.

I used to think that weed "expanded" my mind and opened me up to a lot of new perspectives on life. Now, it makes me a lazy, a-motivated POS. Psychedelics make me want to better myself, weed makes me content with where I'm at, even if that place is shit.

I definitely need to cut down on the weed smoking, too. It doesn't effect my schoolwork negatively at all, though -- in fact, getting high and doing homework is one of my favorite activities. Pot can fuck with my math ability though, and I'm taking p-chem this semester so I really need to cut down on my consumption because I'm very nervous and scared about the level of mathematical rigor involved in that class.

^ P-chem? <Shudder> What a brutal class that was for me. I actually got the highest score on the final (a open-everything test, with four hours to answer one problem, I wrote 16 pages (you also had to write your own table of contents to your answer!), and that was a short answer. Some people wrote 30+ pages.
