Tsk!! Bad clubberdude! ;) LOL. I find that small(ish) doses - 10-20mg - help me focus. Sort of. They help keep my 'starting a task' anxiety to a minimum and let me get on with stuff. I've had two doses of 10mg today and am feeling fairly focussed. That may also be a result of the Piracetam, of course...

I didn't take my morning dose of Piracetam, though did take some an hour of so ago. Its had no real discernible effect (though is very mild compared to aMT anyway).
 
Just came upon a quantity of aMT, and I am wondering if there was any way to tell if it is an HCL or a freebase. It just looks like crushed up crystals, with some very small shards still left in it. I took 10mg on an empty stomache (to test out how my body would react) and I didn't get much of a response. I felt a little different but thats the end of it.
 
^ One thing you could do to see if it's fb or HLC is to dissolve a small amount in some water. AFAIK, AMT fb isn't water soluble and won't dissolve. If it dissolves, I would suspect that it's AMT HCL.
 
im a little scared to go back to amt. i had a couple of lovely times on it, but the second time the comeup was so long and tiring, and even after the trip i kept feeling tired for a couple of days. it might have been that i just didnt trip when the time was right, and was left with a sour taste for it. also, for it being considered the mdma of tryptamines... i have to say i didnt feel that social. it was a nice trip yes, but i felt too confused, to incoherent and uncoordinated to be doing anything too social (like dancing or chatting about)

any ideas on how i might remedy this? perhaps i took to little or too much? (i think it was 20mg the first time, 30 the second, oral both times. i know it was lowish in dose, but i had oev and cevs so perhaps im a bit sensitive to it) perhaps i should try another ROA? imnot too keen on plugging the thing...

im really interested in trying it again, not only because i have quite a bit left, but also because although it felt like a rough trip and felt tired the next day, i did enjoy it and it was visual and happy, it just seems to be taking a rather high toll on my body
 
As someone who finds it hard to concentrate on tedious tasks like studying, aMT has proven to be quite effective in [very] small doses in counteracting that lack of concentration.

Bought to test that right now.

And also, would a low purity be an indication of 30mg not sending my friend and I into hyperspace? Like the effects were DEFINITELY felt, even when I woke up in the morning, it just wasn't super strong like I have read in some reports. And we got to sleep fine.

EDIT: So I just put about 20mg into some water, and the crystals we're moving around a lot on the surface, but it ended up dissolving. HCL it is then. My friend and I want to try smoking it soon, so would you guys have any guess to the dose that we should be smoking. I'm thinking more since its an HCL.
 
Has a proper way to plug freebase aMT been discovered yet? I'm mainly looking to compact the duration, as I find it hard to sleep without benzos after taking a high enough dose of aMT to enjoy without stacking any other psychedelics on top of the dreamy-tryptamine goodness

I'm fairly sure I melted my aMT when I tried adding heat to a solution I was trying to prepare for IM, so heat is not an option.
I'm wary of putting vinegar in my butt, although I know it'll dissolve the chem.
Searching the topic lead me to a post recommending a small amount of propylene glycol to dissolve, but I'm also wary of putting that up there.

Any ideas? Would a conversion to hcl be necessary?

Orrrr I could just try IMing it again, but properly dissolving it with a bit of vinegar first...
 
Xorkoth used to talk about using vinegar to dissolve aMT. Try putting your amt in 5 mL of warm water in a shot glass, and stirring it as vigorously as possible with a paper clip or something while adding drops of vinegar until it looks dissolved. This should help keep the amount of vinegar to a minimum - you really don't need a lot of vinegar to make the amt dissolve. Apparently lemon juice works as well, you'll have amt citrate instead of amt acetate though.

I haven't actually ever done this myself, this is all from memory, so if it doesn't work - I don't know what to tell ya !

30mg might not be enough for some, especially if it's a salt rather then in fb form. Some reports indicate that 50mg being a good dose but YMMV. I haven't worked with HCL myself so I'm not sure what the dosage range is for that. Also, I'm not sure if the HCL can be smoked with great success and may have to be converted to fb for better effects.

Personally, 35mg of fb is a mild dose and 20mg of fb vaporized is a mild dose but that could be due to purity issues and may be totally different with another batch.
 
How does the dosage curve change with rectal administration? Is there a steep potency increase or is it more or less the same qualities of oral dosing sans the physical side effects?
 
I am assuming it will be a little higher in potency compared to oral, in addition to a shorter duration but I can't confirm. I will be trying soon. Think I'll go for 50mg of base partially becaise I don't know if my aMT is losing potency, as every time I take it out, it's all clumpy. I don't know if this is because the compound is sticky? It's stored at room temp.

I think 50 will be a nice solo dose to smoke a lot of weed/hash and lay around in the sun, but would also provide a nice base for a small-ish dose of another psychedelic if I so choose ;)
 
^In the past I've stored aMT HCl at room temperature for years without any change in color, consistency, or potency. It seems to be far more stable than the freebase. From what I've read you can convert to the HCl simply be going to a pool supply shop and buying muriatic acid (make sure it's just diluted HCl and water), dumping the minimum amount of HCl solution (add slowly with a dropper) on the aMT freebase to dissolve it, and evaporating with a fan. HCl will evaporate into the air at room temperature, so there's no danger of excess acid remaining in the resulting dried powder and making your end product highly acidic (no calculating moles necessary). Be careful with the HCl, though.

I think rectal aMT will be at least 30 percent more potent than oral. Freebase tryptamines reportedly typically absorb effectively by that route, so conversion to a salt should not be necessary.
 
I've read through a good.. 40 pages from these big and dandy threads.. and i've got a serious confusing question here. Just a newbie one i guess but!

There's this batch of aMT - the vendor claimed it to be freebase, it has a tanned colour.. almost yellow-y orange. Almost similar to some foundation make ups i suppose. It doesn't have any smell (well, an extremely light one, barely even noticable 'less you start huffin' and puffin' your nose in the bag), but everybody keeps referring to aMT in this thread as it smells like shit! :? I don't get it, is this batch horribly impure or something? Was claimed to be 99.8% pure, the effects are purrrrfect, I assume that this is legit aMT from everybody elses experiences. Active from 2mg+ as an anti-depressant, speedy from 10/15mg upwards etc etc, psychedellic from 40+.. But , I am a tad worried now to think of it as to why everybody is commenting on the smell.

Can someone put my mind at rest? :)
(Can post pictures if need be but, well, without a chem test like marquis is there any other way i can tell?)

tbh i've never noticed any difference with regards to rectal or oral, with regards to effects per dose amount or side effects, and i've been taking it for over a year.
 
Wow. I posted in this thread around the end of last year, having tried this stuff and being unimpressed. Something was telling me to give it the benefit of the doubt. So the other day I tried this again.

Either the batch I had last time wasn't good, or this stuff has just decided to let me in. I used about 50mg as an initial dose at 8.30pm and then much later had a top-up with about 20mg. The dose was oral.

After the looong come-up (my only complaint), I felt brilliant. Definitely reminiscent of MDMA, which I haven't done for a couple of years (the magic went as one would expect), more subtle but powerful nonetheless. It was after a couple of hours of this state that I got visuals, which I was not expecting. Usual stuff, morphing objects and the like, not overwhelming but enjoyable. Music sounded SUPERB, and I mean on a par with my first ever MDMA experiences. The stimulation never felt like too much.

at about 6am I started feeling a little exhausted from the stimulation, so I popped one of my mirtazapine 30mg pills. I hadn't taken them for a few days beforehand, if there was any in my system when I took the aMT then it didn't interfere with it as far as I can tell. The pill helped me drop off to sleep. I felt tired upon being woken a few hours later but mirtazapine tends to do that anyway.

Can anyone tell me what this is like when going to the pub and clubs? A friend's 21st is soon, I intend on getting some more of this, I wouldn't drink excessively, just keep a beer in my hand to sip.
 
I finally have obtained some aMT and I'm excited to try it soon. It did smell strongly and like shit but that indole smell always reminds me of DMT (read makes me feel like I do right before I take DMT).

Though people say the smoke/vapor is harsh/tastes bad, I'll probably try smoking it at some point to compare effects to oral. I know vaporization is supposed to be more stimulating and less psychedelic, but can it still be pretty visual or psychedelic with manageable body load?
 
got 100mg free coming in the morning hopefully this time it wnt feel like baby woodrose seeds on the come up amd il get something off it unlike last couple of times . also any one noticed how venders are all having sales on this stuff of late , could be just the holidays festivals and such or do you think they know something we dnt i.e. new chemicals coming or a ban
 
The price drop will be because it's now either cheaper to produce or it's just not that popular, which is understandable due to the side effects.
