my massive codeine addtiction

^ He seems to be a one in a hundred case whereby the celing dose of around 300-400mg doesn't apply, lucky devil. Any more than that just gives me an increased histamine reaction and I start to feel uncomfortable with the potential amount of apap/ibuprofen being consumed, even after a CWE. I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone try doses that high without a certain history and knowledge of opiates.
 
What is it about Friday fkn nights? Here I am going with a taper down dose of 180mg, watching a couple eps of True Blood... and the next thing I know Im extracting abother 180, shotting it and chasing it with 15mg diazepam.

*sigh*

Ahh well. At least my other 2 efforts are going strong... always skip a day between opiates (been vigilant with that) and always keep mass extractions (400-600mg at once) to a max of once a week. Just one thing at a time I guess, eh? The 'every other day' thing has been going well and is slowly strengthening my resolve.

I should prob go enjoy this as much as I can now I guess.
 
why would you even bother with having a codeine habit?? What a shit high! If you want to use opiates at least get the real deal instead of over the counter crap, i just dont get it.....

Jesus. Are you for real? So youre a herion user who finds codeine somewhat underwhelming? If thats the case then of course youre gonna find codeine a shitty waste of time. But for those of us who enjoy opiates and dont wanna go down the road to full on junky-ville codeine is a more than adequate recreational solution.

Dont get me wrong however.... if I had access to oxy of course I wouldnt bother with codeine. But its not like one can just go buy a box of endone from the local pharmacy is it?
 
There is a huge difference between different types of opiates. I personally like codeine out of all of them followed by hydromorphone and bottom of the list is morphine. I consider the pro's and cons's of it. Codeine may be mild but it is certainly addictive. Ive been using it for about 1.5 years give or take few times a week, not high doses and they are extracted. Dont underestimate it just because its OTC, dont worry there will be a time,,, aahh never mind i dont want to jinx it LOL
 
you just said it yourself, if you could be on endone you would and clearly that is a stronger high than just codeine......

You're an idiot. Here's a newsflash dipstick, just because you don't get a good high from codeine it doesn't mean that noone else does. Codeine is very dependent on liver enzymes, which differ dramatically from person to person. Around 2% of people are 'super converters' and have much higher levels of CYP2D6, which greatly increases the amount of codeine converted into morphine. I also use heroin and oxy regularly but codeine is my favourite opiod, and it's cheaper than any others too at $7 bucks a go.
 
Had some of my very best highs on codeine :)

First opiate I ever tried, even at low doses (like 40mg) I got some really nice effects. 150mg-200mg was incredible, got some full on nods that compare to heroin and oxy... unfortunately I liked it a bit TOO much and now (7 years later) I'm on bupe 0.4 and finding it hard to jump off :!

Don't bother with codeine much anymore but whenever I can get the pure tablets I'll indulge. For some reason I find the CWE codeine to be not as enjoyable...I'm sure some amount is lost in the process but even when I try and compensate for that with lots more tablets it still doesn't seem to hit the spot.

Nothing wrong with posting the warning again though just in case any newbies stumble across that old thread. To be honest I'm glad I do CWEs rather than just splitting N+ anyway, even splitting them you'd still consume a lot of binders etc... and the taste of swallowing a handful of split N+?.... oh the horror.... the horror.... *gags*

Yes. But I cant. Soooo.... you take what you can get. And codeine for me (and clearly others) still has enough recreational value to warrant the comparably small effort involved in acquiring it. Especially when combined with benzos I find it a very enjoyable experience.

Its my go-to combo for watching movies at home.
 
Did a CWE just before, feeling pretty nice and warm at the moment, really itchy (Girlfriend scratched my head, felt awesome :] )

360mg codeine via CWE (Guessing around 280-300mg yield) (24 panadeine extra tablets)
500g poppy seed tea (Orange juice washed)
4x Nurofen Plus (200mg ibuprofen / 12.8mg codeine, taken normally)
3x Promethazine 10mg tablets

Anyone ever done similar? I took the promethazine 20-30mins before any opiates..... Wondering how long i'll be flying high now.

^ I haven't done it but IIRC I have read it is speedier and quite a bit longer lasting than codeine, theres a somewhat recent AusDD thread about it. Lets try keep the discussion on topic and not delve any further into sourcing poppy seeds.

having lived both in australia and new zealand, does anyone know why OTC panadeine is soooo expensive in NZ?
like 3 times the price of australian stuff.....

Your not wrong there. I'm still pretty buzzed here this morning, and the thought has crossed my mind that I wouldn't mind some more....
 
^^^ Doesnt necessarily support the notion underlying "What was it?"s post implying that codeine use will inevitably lead to more serious opiate abuse. Ive been using codeine for years and havent gone any further with heavier opiates. I of course love me some oxy when I can get it but Im happy enough sticking with codeine.

Im sure many others would say the same thing.
