Questions from a Serious Noob

Im 6'1 and was about 145 lbs when I started lifting, similar to you. Its taken me about a year and a half to gain 20lbs of mostly muscle. Im 167 now and have learned alot since I started.

First thing you need to realize is that unless you are going through puberty you arent going to gain 30 lbs in a summer. Bodybbuilding is all about consistency, making sure your exercises are challenging your muscles to grow, nutrition and rest.

Generally you want to have whats called a split for your workouts, meaning you work out a couple of muscle groups per day, and give them at least a few days off to rest. As an example my split looks like this.

Day1 chest/triceps
Day2off
Day3Legs/abs
Day4off
Day5back/biceps
Day6off

As far as supplements go I take creatine hcl, a preworkout and whey. With where you are at thats all you really need.

I have friends that spend alot of money on steroids and fancy suppliments, and I have made just as much progress as them since I have been training, if not more.

As far as nutrition goes, with your body type you need to be eating TONS of food EVERY DAY. Also try to get in 1gram of protein per lb of bodyweight per day. A multivitamin, omega 3 sources and vegetables are also good to have.

Steroids are really ONLY for people who have been working out for at least a couple years, are strong in all their compound lifts (deadlift, bench, squat, pullup ect). Theartofwars second post is pretty much right on.
 
yeah bro just listen to everyone and eat. steroids aren't for what you want. for what you want, there is no such substance.

i hope everything works out for you tho, just cut out the drug use, cuz your wasting your time and money if your using opiates while you workout. if your friends are telling you to use, then don't cuz its not you that wants to, its your ego.

get something steady going, have an on-point diet, and be consistent with everything else and in a few years use. if your younger than 25 anyways, you shouldnt be using roids cuz your already flowing with testosterone. reap the benefits of it right now.
 
i was debating the exact same thing because i never could gain weight what so ever i had worked out for yrs ect. for peeps like us the secret is gaining weight for about a yr. than cutting it up. eat a lot of carbs if you want to grow fast. i ate 5 times a day and went from 175 to 215 in two yrs with 12% body fat. and if your serious i recommend "body storm". you can find it at "muscle max" but thas in cali.
its super hard to find but its the best creatine supplement on the market. they basically took the best of everything and slammed it together without a lot of mono creatine so you dont just have water stored in muscle tissue growth.
 
Well i already picked up the roids, im waiting till i can afford to buy proper food for my diet.

Roids are soo easy to get, I go to my heroin dealer and hes stocked full of Tri-cycles.

You guys tell me Eat Eat, no drugs, LIFT hard and keep on diet without any roids.
But my street sources tell me half of that.
Apparently its ok for a lil opiates on a cycle, but no uppers (blow, crack, speed, ect.....)
And thats what i see also (my dope dealer all jacked up, but smoking dope)
Soo you guys telling me to eat and eat and eat have no idea really, and im going to regard your statements as jokes

Ima do my cycle in a few weeks from now after i make sure i have enough time and food for my routine.

I see people doing cycles all wrong, i see people do who them and not even eat properly, sleep, or even work out.

SO flame all you want, if it helps you let you some of that extra aggression then so be it :)

I really hope the gear is bunk and you end up getting Zyklon B in pill forum. That way any chance of you reproducing is eliminated. Let me know how it feels when your maxes are what I warmed up with when I was 17, clean. All I can do now is hope that you realize that people like you are the reason anabolics are illegal. I just don't know how you can be ok with knowing that you're on steroids and still one of the weakest kids in the gym. If you're expecting 5lb of LBM per week, you're in for a rude awakening. Go ahead, do the gear. Just don't dare come back here and make a thread when the sides are kicking your ass.

Buddy, whats the point of coming to these boards looking for advice if you youre not going to follow it and question is, and then try to fight the information we give you? It defeats the purpose.

Just keep in mind, you just mentioned your HEROIN dealer is giving you gear advice, you dont find something wrong with that?

Anyhow the simple fact youre 155lbs and 6'2 tells me you just started working out like yesterday, or youre lazy and have no idea to kill it in the gym naturally

At that size there is NO REASON you cant naturally cram 200lbs+ onto a 6'2 frame. And seriously all you need to do is eat and kill it in the gym

And if youre gonna flex pictures of your half ass in shape dope dealer then go look at my pictures, then tell me who should be asking for help.

But if youre dead set on just doing gear, praying and not eating. Then have fun balooing to 200lbs of bloat while on cycle. when your done not listening and u come back at 6'2 160 instead of 155 after trying yourself then come on back, we will still be here to help you

and id prefer not to know if i have herpse's and spread it around then waste money on valtrex as i stated i want to get Bigger, not soo big that im missing my neck like half those muscle magazine freaks.

Bro, you are not even remotely in the correct place to start using AAS. AAS are not made so you can look like a cover of mens health and fitness, you can do that with diet and exercise , fuck 155lbs bro you shouldn't waste money on juice buy LOTS of food. You are motivated, that's where you start man, now take that motivation - and really apply it - 6-8 meals a day / solid lifting schedule (I can help u with workout charts / diet if you want) - trust me man you are not in a place where steroids are the answer. Creatine is good to go bro.
