Even if you don't notice an improvement in health, there has probably been an improvement as our bodies thrive off of being active. Some of the benefits of exercising/being active in general aren't very obvious.did pushups and crunches this morning and then walked home carrying groceries (the walk is about 2.5 miles)
I've been trying to do the pushups/crunches and walk home from work every weekday in an effort to get more in shape. Even though I've been doing it for a month and a half I haven't felt much of an improvement. I think its just starting to get better, and I hope in a month more I can look back and go "hey, I have improved my health!"
Man, I LOVE trails like that. Granted there's only one that I know of around here, but it was TOUGH! In a few places, the stairs are crooked, too.The latter part of the trail I took is called the "Giant Stairway". It is 900 steps, 400 metres vertical climb. It was absolutely brutal!!!! As I was approaching it I was like "Pffft, this will be a piece of cake, I'm pretty fit at the moment, let's do this!"
But it absolutely kicked my arse![]()
I will be sore tomorrow![]()

OH, also, n3o, you asked a couple posts back what's wrong with my little dog--It's just an ear infection. Not sure what it's from, but she's being treated right now with ear drops and some steroids so I can clean her ear tomorrow or Tuesday.
Hey, finding the motivation to get off your butt is perfectly fine in this thread.:romise not to make this my own personal blog::

I haven't done anything today.

Yesterday I biked quite a bit. :D Did about twenty miles total though not all at once.
