Yeah I got the doxy cause I'm on Wellbutrin - which creates wicked insomnia. Well the doxy worked - except I felt like a fuckin Zombie for most of the next day. I've vowed to never take that crap again. So now I use it to gain favors with my boss who doesn't know the difference between doxy and xanax. Hehehehe.

Its a drug eat drug world...

Indeed it is.

I just doxylamine as a nice add-on for opiates, however. I couldn't find any DPH last night so I drank NyQuil instead as a potentiator (DXM+doxylamine, woo!)

OK - since this is pointless drug-related banter, I thought I'd post an amusing little anecdote that happened to me recently.

My boss is about 20 years my senior, and we get along really well. In fact, we carpool in to work every day. In the course of getting to know each other we have both divulged our penchants for certain drugs. My drug of choice is anything opiate-related - his is alcohol and anything benzo-related.

We have this little agreement in place where everytime he gets opies he kicks em in my direction, and whenever I get benzos I kick them in his direction.

Since he's been without benzos for awhile and his wife is giving him an ultimatum to either quit drinking alcohol or GTFO, I had pity on him and decided to help out the poor chap.

Last Friday I declared I had I little 'treat' for him. At the end of the day I dropped a 25mg doxylamine succinate tablet in his lap (they look IDENTICAL to Xanax). He filpped out and instantly started planning his weekend around when he would take it. Monday morning arrived and he thanked me profusely for the football I passed him last week.

Well, since then I decided to see how far I could take this naughty little prank. I have since given him two more “fake-footballs” and both times he has gobbled them down with relish, each time describing how well they have melted away his anxiety, and given him this wonderful sedating high.

Poor guy.

I wonder how long I’ll play this out…

Any true bluelighter would know the difference haha. I know i would. That is pretty funny though he is going to feel like a fooool if you ever tell him. I feel like benzo high would be the easiest to mistake because the high is so subtle. Pluss anxiety is all in your head anyway right?

Anywayy im feelin pretty good this morning. Been taking tiny amounts of suboxone for the past few days and have almost zero opiate cravings even on such a tiny amount. What a great drug suboxone is but after reading this thread i just wish i had some type of benzo to synergize with it.

I can get about 4 more uses outta this strip then after i wait a couple days i get to feel the rush of some oxymorphone woo!

I was wondering, does suboxone keep your tolerance up or does your tolerance decrease but just not as fast as it would without the suboxone?

I've had doctors recommend it to me before, not even kidding.

Many doctors don't know shit about drugs. My wife went to the doctor to get something for anxiety relief recently. I told her "Honey, they will probably want to give you valium because of how mild it is."

She came back and declared that her doc was MORTIFIED of prescribing Valium because it is a common drug of abuse.......so he prescribed her Xanax instead!!!

WHAT THE FUCK?!! =D What a dumbass!

^hahahaha, right, because Valium is so hot on the street right now with all the cool drug-taking kids. But Xanax, no, they don't even put that in rap lyrics or anything else. Wow.

@highhooked, if you can take those lower doses (I saw your post in the DC morning fix thread) then your tolerance should go down, or at least stabilize. I know we're here bashing antihistamines (I'm not really), but mixing some diphenhydramine, even if its a lower dose (25-50mg) with the Suboxone will make it feel a lot more like a true full-agonist opiate. That's usually what I do. I take the lorazepam because I need it for anxiety either way, even if I'm not taking any other opiates.

highhooked, does buprenorphine feel a bit stimulating for you? I've noticed at lower doses (like really low doses, 0.25 - 0.50mg) it feels a bit more stimulating....which is probably why the sedating antihistamines make it feel so good

^Exactly! Thats one of the things I like about it, its got antidepressant qualities. Although it does mean you have to mix it with a depressant of some sort if you want to head on down to nod town.

how's everyone doing today?I have a question its strange I once took 2 30mg temazepam and crashed just like no energy But I think I took them both at the same time. Now this time I took 1 then took another about 15 minutes later I thought the drug might just not work for me.I had no good feelings at all the first time around strange. Now I feel relaxed and Ive heard some people get crazy euphoria from it.I guess my question is why would it do that the first time is it because I took them both at the same time and how long does it last the half life?

Some people don't get euphoria from temazepam, most people get a slight amount of euphoria though. If you were tired then they're going to knock you OUT which is what it sounds like happened to you...

The half life is 8-21 hours, so about half a day ~12 hours on average, which is why its great for sleeping. You should feel the full effects a bit slower since you took them 15 minutes apart from each other. Don't except euphoria like what you get with a stimulant or even some of the opiates with temazepam, its different, hard to explain, but you should feel something that's distinct from the other benzos with tempazepam. At least that's been my experience with it.

Yes! I have said this in another thread sometime ago. This is also why i enjoy suboxone and i tend to smoke lots and lots of marijuana while on it. Its great because while im on suboxone i dont get the burnt out feeling that i normally get after a weed high. So i just keep smoking and smoking haha.

O and it keeps me off opiates. Im so glad i have access to suboxone and a cheap 8mg strip can last me like half a month if need be.

Its a medium (intermediate-acting) benzo so its not short duration for sure! The stronger effects usually do hit you pretty quick, but that depends on individual reaction. If you've been up for a while then it may just make you really tired though.

Still a fun benzo, either way. :)

Suboxone is great for me as well, as its cheapo and keeps me off the heavier stuff thats more distructive, plus keeps my tolerance down. Much better than blowing through 2 and 4mg hydromorphones constantly.

right now is good the last time a while back was terrible I didn't understand it I took 1 by itself did very little then a month later I take 2 and just had no energy It was a little confussion as to how that happend??

Do you think you could theoretically swith on and off with suboxone and your opiate of choice with only a two day break after the suboxone for the rest of your life and not develop any sort of dependence on either suboxone or opiates? I would think that the suboxone would eventually catch up to you even if using such tiny doses?

That's what happens with temazepam sometimes. It's not going to be insane euphoria...how long has it been since you've slept?

It certainly would. You can get carried away with it, its just harder to because of the other effects (some people get really bad nausea with buprenorphine - I did when I first started messing around with it) since its not technically a full-agonist. I think you can get way too into Suboxone just like you can get way too into any other opiate...but its just harder to do it with Suboxone.
