im not trying to be nitpicky, but micro tears in muscle create scar tissue? i thought the basic principle of anabolism was you tear the muscle a lil bit, and it grows back stronger - so if there's scar tissue, wouldn't muscles automatically be full of scar tissue no matter what you did, since they had to be torn to grow there in the 1st place?
(and do you mean keep the benefits after you stop your routine? or stay stretched/flexible after you leave the gym?)

Its my own work and I understand it!
You need to compile your own research and have time spent identifying "conditions" and what "remedy" will "fix" the "ailiment" to BE Confiedent.
Your right, my mistake was replacing the accepted terms to describe the muscle tissue/collogen/hard non flexible chicken skin that forms when you stretch a joint beyond its limit and the body repairs itself, leaving you with a condition called ( need source ).

google it! how to get rid of scar tissue from overstretching a muscle.

But, my real point was to bring attention to how you can ease yourself out from doing alot of yoga to no yoga and not have something bad happen to you.:p

Muscle recovers relatively quickly from injury, because it's vascularized (i.e. it has direct blood supply). Connective tissue, like tendons and ligaments, are not, and therefore take much longer to heal from tears (requires surgery to fix), and even then they never really heal well. Over-stretching of tendons or ligaments is also a one-way street; they pretty well never go back to the way they were.

So be careful.

no one likes seeing kung fu fighters win... ;)

Great job, rm! Keep up the good, solid work!

As for NM, lookin' spectacular, mate. You have a back shot for us, too?

Heres the best pick i have. And i use some help but its very minute compared to others...its more or less because I eat well every day, not cause of anything i take I "diet" all the time

NeighbourMike:
Great job mate, you've got a fantastic physique :).

Could maybe do with a few more squats'n'calf raises though ;) Your upper body is very well engineered though my man, absolutely spot on dimension-wise and you're at a perfect BF imo (nohomo :D)

welcome to bluelight, big guy (nm).

awesome, rm-rf. hey wood man, got any vids (pm if you want,...please)?

he does
(am i misreading?)

mike- how much do you eat a day to maintain @185?

You did misread kinda, i do take supplements but a very very very minimal amount, so he was basically giving me credit for that.

A basic daily breakdown looks like this

2500k cals
75mg fat
10mg carbs (from veggies)

Ha. I work my legs out twice a week
I used to have absolutely horrible legs, the pic does no justice but my quads are pretty proportional, i know I still have a way to go through for sure. I try not to blame genetics but i work those things into the ground man lol

Ah nah man, calves are very much genetic imo. My calves are extremely responsive to the slightest bit of training whereas some guys I know also work like fuck but just can't get much growth there.

Conversely, i just can't get those tree-trunk forearms alot of guys seem to get with ease! Alot of things come easier to those with genetic predisposition imo. My upper arms are good, i'm very happy there but below that I just aint happy. Though often we see a different thing in the mirror than what others see when they look at us. We are, after all, our own worst critic.

BTW in your post there did you not mean to write 75g fat and not 75mg? Surely you didn't mean to write 10mg Carbs aswell :P

Yeah i work them out all the time all methods, done everything i could think of their, extremely strong but thats just how they look

I do take in 75g of fat a day and 10g of carbs.

Its basically a palio diet, you eat no carbs, and a bunch of fat, your body conditions itself to start burning fat for fuel once carbs are gone

I like to mix bananas, watermelon, spinach, water, and a natural protein powder together for a nice natural, protein smoothie.

Sadly, I've been drinking too much toxic SHIT lately to feel good about my health... I seem to shift between total cleanliness and utter intoxication :\

im very similar. i go on benders for a few days and love it. Then i get depressed and say that i will "sort my life out" and eat well, get sleep and excercise, get more or less healthy again and go on another binge:(

Yeah I am familiar with Paleo, it's just you wrote 75mg of fat and 10mg of Carbohydrates!

I take it you've tried high volume training for your predominantly fast-twitch Tibialis Anterior? Alot of people find they get most response from high-volume high intensity training such as high-rep supersetting (obviously coupled with adequate nutrition)....Not saying they are small by any means by the by!

High-rep heavy dumbell one leg calf raises off a step has really done the trick for me....I actually really enjoy calf isolation exercises, you really feel it.

How long you been training for btw? And how long have you employed a paleo-based diet?

I pretty much do everything you said above

I got "big" a long time ago (as much as 250 im 5'8) but my quality of life sucked and not being big isnt "in" anyhow

so i traded in that was related to an actual body building lifting style for things geared to just be in good shape, i still prefer to do it by lift weights. I know a lots of people are doing the p90x thing and stuff like that, which i certainly dont knock cause if you actually do it right and diet it works. I just like going to the gym

I dont do very much cardio either. If you eat healthy as a life style and go to the gym on a regular basis thats pretty much all you need right there.
