mephedrone vs mdma

How can people prefer mephedrone? :S Beyond me. I like mephedrone, but it makes me into a dickhead. Non stap talking all night, your deepest darkest secrets, 100 miles an hour, no concentration, no regard for anything. The buzz is absolutely fantastic, like being jumped up on a million cans of redbull, it''s pretty much the speedy part of a pill (even though I only do mandy). It's pretty much what I wanted in coke and speed.

However, MDMA makes you empathetic, you wana cuddle everything, you wana stomp the dancefloor, I don't get lairy, I'm everyones best friend and you can have a bomb if you like mate because the world stopped turning at 9pm for my first bomb.


I also don't buy this 'less of a comedown' on mephedrone. You go to a rave on mephedrone, stomp around for 8 hours and you wont feel like leaving your bed for 2-3 days.

Adding to that, the two substances have completely different effects on me. How are they comparable

I disagree with that, When i used to do mephedrone i used to get little or no comedown what so ever, where as after mdma i always feel down the day after.

for me mdma is a worse comedown but a better drug so worth it
 
MDMA is FAR better than Mephedrone IMO...
Well to be fair, I can't really remember the last time I had a good buzz from Meph, 6 months ago maybe.
It never lasted long enough to be perfect, causing you to redose, a lot... Plus it also made everybody need a shit, which was unfortunate for the house owner... Then the horrible emptiness feeling I got, fiending was probably one of the worst feelings I've ever had.
Meph also made a friend of mine into a dick, hes actually the only person that still takes it that I hang about with, but hes so annoying! lol, he just stops giving a fuck about what hes saying (he doesn't mean bad he just cant shut his mouth), he also starts talking in a kinda Aberdeen/Edinburgh accent (Anybody thats been there should ken wut a mean like... lol)

MDMA is everything good about Meph, and much more, in my opinion.
 
Well put. I find them completly uncomparable too. I personally feel most people dont know the difference between stimulants. Most people dont even take mdma for empathy i constantly hear "omg im so euphoric from that pill" - theres so many euphoric drugs out there and mdma shouldnt be one of them. It is special, it has one purpose, its an entactogen.

MDMA shouldn't be euphoric? really? Just because it causes greater empathy as one of its principle effects doesn't mean the intense euphoria shouldn't be ruled out as a desired effect. Who are you to say what MDMA should and shouldn't be used for, especially considering the effect you're ruling out is probably the most sought-out effect in recreational drug use?

Im not saying mdma shouldnt be euphoric.
I know mdma is very euphoric, what im saying is that if someone is just looking to feel euphoric there is other chemicals that a user can achieve that with besides mdma. If used too often mdma loses the few effects that make it different and it just becomes a euphoric non lovey experience.
Why cause more damage and down regulation to you 5ht system for just euphoria.
I guess all im saying is mdma and meph are two different worlds.

Don't know where you guys are, but I've never encountered mephedrone masquerading as MDMA in my neck of the woods. That must suck royally :(

The people who are shady enough to pass off one drug for another will not be stopped by a mephedrone ban. MDMA will ALWAYS be subject to purity issues until it's legalized and regulated, period. Just look at how many research chemicals on the market mimic the effects of MDMA. If they ban mephedrone (which I don't use but am against banning), there's plenty more where that came from. Think methylone, MDAI, 4-FA, 4-FMA, butylone, MDPV, NRG-1 and all the combination "bath salts" at a gas station near you.
 
Mephedrone is everywhere in London :| I was out one night when lines were being passed around, I had a g of coke but thought I'd save it for later since these were free. I take the line, burns like fuck and disgusting drips, ask em what it is and they say meph! What the fuck do I want meph for if I have coke in my fucking pocket?
 
i dont even remember posting this thread back when meph was being criminalized... now it has been criminalized, there is even shiter versions of meph being sold as meph, which was being sold as mdma.... and THANK GOD people have started to wise up and stop buying this shite instead of mdma!!! fair enuf if u want a cheaper dirtier buzz by all means take a half ounce of meph and stab your best friend on the comedown, but i am so happy to say REAL MDMA and REAL PILLS are back on the scene.... i just had an amazing weekend on some top quality mandy and it actually made me so happy that poor ppl who have only ever tried meph are finally getting the chance to try PROPER LOVE DRUGS! M-D-M-AZING!!
 
Personally ... I prefer MDMA, but MDMA is the kind of think you would take at a big party or rave type thing... or in a club. However, you can take mephedrone at both a party event and just in someones house with a close friend.... i could never take mdma like that .
 
dont get me wrong thers nothing wrong with a wee sesh of meph but if i had a choice id take mdma every time, at a rave, houseparty, wedding, weekday... anytime. pure mephedrone has a good buzz but imo is alot more addictive and head frying...
