mephedrone vs mdma

Meph has like, no euphoria associated with it. Yeah, it clears my anxiety. Yeah, it makes me social, but in the end it does not give me the same:

"I don't give a fuck, I love everyone" feeling that pure mdma does.

Mephadrone is leagues behind mdma in terms of general use. I would more say that comparing D-amp to meph is a better competition.

To be honest meph is a lot like the feeling I got when I first started drinking heavy amounts of energy drinks in high school. The thing is, after a night of using meph, I tend to have soreness in my kidneys the next day.

But as a social drug, it's not bad. But being around people on it can get really annoying.

I find meph euphoric. It doesnt give me empathy wich imo is mdmas unique quality. Meph isnt nearly as euphoric as mdma but using mdma for euphoria is the wrong reason i believe.

Eh, the intense euphoria is what helps bring about my unconstrained will to dance the night away :)

I'm naturally a fairly empathetic person on most and drug except benzos.

I wouldnt say extremely euphoric but in the initial come up that makes it feel like your about to roll there is an mdma like euphoria. thats why people are able to sell it as not so great molly...I find it a good alternative in social situations where your not trying to roll tits and i can still wake up with a clear head in the morning. However, I'll keep the mdma for larger music festivals and raves..
 
theres definatly a good kick from decent meph but also that dirty feeling u get taking it... and the smell of meph that haunts you weeks after a binge lol

Just read this whole thread as Ive been offered some of this from a guy who bought a load of it way before ban. Its the crystal like super high grade stuff and I know a few pals who have testified to its quality. A few concerns I have though and reasons I havent yet done it.

1. I havent touched a drug in well over a year (coke) and havent seriously done drugs in 7 or so years when I was eating anything that came by (Hunter S <3<3 ) How strong is this for a reintro into drugs? I had a fairly severe cocaine problem years back, I got it under control but im tod this is even more fiendish?

2. Im overweight but generally quite physically fit, resting heart rate of 68 and I can do an hour on a tredmill without too much struggle although my heart rate will stick high at around 160 during it. Is the tachycardia a big risk? BP is fairly normal.

3. 300mg seems to be suggested as a good bomb to start out, yes?

4. I want to try it because its been described by friends as "like mdma but without all the kissing men", tbh Id like to try some MDMA again because its the best feeling ive ever had, I like the love aspect but MDMA is terrible quality at the moment and id rather do something purer, is thier description fairly accurate?

5. Im currently on 20mg of Citalopram, has anyone here used Meph whilst on anti-D's?

Have to disagree there, meph was my first chemical to try and i used to get more loved up than i do off good MDMA now.

meph did have euphoria, pure meph i mean, back in 2010.

all meph now is poop.



but will reflect what every1 else said. only reason i take mdma now over meph is because im not too keen on the health effects meph has.


people on mdma can get annoying aswell.

imo, meph is just MDMA but with a nice phet edge to it aswell.
 
MDMA is in a different league to meph. I've had the pure shit from the internet in 2010, had a fucking quality time, no feeling like it. Drone does you, you don't do drone, it turns you in to a fiend. Repeated used takes down a dark path.

But then I tried MDMA and my life changed. It gave me euphoria yet control, unbeatable empathy, I was myself but the happiest I've ever been, conversations take a meaningful and open pathway, connection with people over music. I cuddled, I giggled, I shared, I played, I danced, I sang. These are things which make us happy without drugs. With drone there is a kinda of out of control euphoria, not thinking before you take action, speaking before you think, talking utter shit. If i wanted to do those things I would walk down the road to my local pub and legally get pissed as a fart.

^^ Canada is the number 1 producer of MDMA atm i read somewhere.. it used to be in holland, but they cracked down hard on the precursors for making MDMA making it very rare in Europe... i don't think the mephedrone ban willl lead to a higher availability of MDMA...

this is totally on target for me. It might not be the same euphoria that one experiences on MDMA, but i consider it roughly analogous.

I'll also have to eat my own words. lol it ended up being the most fiendish thing i've ever encountered. Much more so when snorted than when orally ingested. Totally fun, but very easy to binge on. So let my earlier smug words be stricken from the record. :)

It'd be great to find a source for clean 4mmc again. :\

I find that meph is really euphoric at first however after the initial dosing I never get anywhere near the same euphoric buzz when re-dosing, just pure stimulation really, still ridiculously fiendish though and me and a small group of friends always end up going through way too much over a weekend just sitting about in someone's house.
 
Back in 2009 4-MMC snorted gave me the most intense and euphoric moments in my life that no other drug or drug combination have ever delivered.
Some research showing the differences between 4-MMC/MDMA/Amphetamine in rats:

KEY RESULTS Mephedrone (3 mg·kg−1 s.c.) and (+)-amphetamine (1 mg·kg−1 s.c.) caused rapid increases in extracellular DA levels of 496% and 412%, respectively, whereas MDMA (3 mg·kg−1 s.c.) showed only a moderate effect (235%). The corresponding 5-HT levels increased to 941% (mephedrone) and 911% (MDMA), but only to 165% following amphetamine. The calculated t1/2 values for elimination rate of mephedrone, MDMA and amphetamine-induced increases in extracellular DA levels were 25, 303 and 51 min, the corresponding t1/2 values for 5-HT were 26, 48 and 84 min, respectively. Locomotor activity was increased most by amphetamine, whereas both mephedrone and MDMA showed about three times lower and shorter-lasting effects.

CONCLUSIONS AND IMPLICATIONS The neurochemical and functional properties of mephedrone resemble those of MDMA, but it also shows an amphetamine-like effect in that it evokes a rapid release and elimination of DA in the brain reward system, a feature that may contribute to its potent re-inforcing properties.
