Newcomers - Cold Water Extraction: Method Do's & Don'ts

Don't worry. Some people feel nauseous after DHC. I for one always seem to throw up the day after, and I rarely throw up on other, stronger opies, never mind the following day.

Figure that one out...

got given a CWE top tip by a fellow BLer the other day which is worth a share, the large chemist chains own brand yellow tub of aspirin and codeine is the simplest CWE material of all time. They're loose in the tub you can just add cold water, shake a bit (they dissolve reasonably fast) and filter. quickest cwe ever.

currently filtering some DHC, slightly bigger dose than normal. (coffee filters take so damn long lol)

The water is more cold tap temperature rather than fridge/freezer temp, is that ok?

Also what do people find goes better with opiates, xanax or valium? and for the sake of HR i should wait til the dhc has kicked in before taking any benzos on top yes?

I never knew there were Aspirin/Codeine tabs available OTC. Any idea how many tabs in a tub*?

I've always used tap-cold water and my liver is fine yes But it's totally up to you if you'd rather wap it in the fridge or freezer. I've just never had the need - Especially come winter.

On the Benzo front,I've never tried Alprazolam so I could not say, but Diazepam has a longer half-life so the feeling would likely last longer and you'd not feel the need to take more? Depends which you like the most really
And yea letting the DHC kick in first is a wise move

You surprise me! And not just when you creep up from behind either.

It's a close call because diaz can really enhance the buzz, but alprazolam and opies were pretty much made for each other. The same could be said of diaz, but the alpraz is just so much more immediate and floaty.

That said (as Monsta points out) alprazolam has a faaaaaarrrr shorter half-life and is much more fiendish, so you may be tempted to take more of it than is necessary, and of course there lies the danger.

I can't even have alprazolam in my house anymore.

Having said that if you're sticking to DHC and the benzos (and try not to drink a lot, preferably nothing) then you should be fine. Have a good 'un.

I have a lot of trouble staying away from my meds at the best of times!

quick question noodle, this is from your first post:

7. When most of the solution has left the filter, you can now squeeze harder to get every last drop out.
Then you can squeeze the second filter (that's wrapped around the pint glass) to get all the Codeine/Water solution you can out.

Ive tried this before but ended up leaking some cloudy solution and one time it split (normally its crystal clear), so i stopped doing this, is it ment to be easy lol?

Nope! Hehe Takes a bit of practice really. And you squeeze the first filter into the second that's still wrapped around the glass That way you won't get any cloudiness ending up in the final solution. Plus it will save you from the potential disaster of splittage
It means you'll gain as much Codeine/DHC from the gunk as possible too.

Only thing is, when i gently squeeze the second filter, it still produces cloudy liquid in the bottom filter then into the glass, maybe its just paramol binders im not sure, i think i wasted some by not squeezing enough, but oh well, we'll see

edit: Sam you were right, 2mg alpraz just as the dhc kicking in, very very nice

Aye and even if it was Paracetamol, it'll have only been a smidgin so it's all good

was a very nice buzz, shame it lasts so short, but for the first time i actually nodded off DHC, it was quite a high dose (i guess after the filtering, around 300-350mg), with the alprazolam combined i really nodded off into dreamland for a while hehe.

Yea being in liquid form it really does last quite a short time but it kicks in quickly

drink down in one mate, if you stagger em you wont get near as high

WORST LUCK EVER TODAY, had about 4 coffee filters split on me, im just using the unsafe 5 minute t shirt job on both, no healthy at all but it just pissed me off so much i cant be arsed to wait another 20 minutes for coffee filters to potentiately break, its just when your dealing with 32 grams of paracetamol you want the best filtering possible, but i just cant be fucked with them breaking! (never had one break on me before either).

Thirty-two grams of paracetamol?

No wonder they split. Once you get to that stage then you have to do the filtering in instalments and be very patient indeed.

That's why past a certain point CWE's on OTC products are more trouble than they're worth in my opinion.
