Why are Europeans so much cooler than us?

Sometimes I try to be cool like Europeans by spelling favourite and colour like they do.

US cocaine is purer and cheaper usually, as is our heroin powder, which never goes dry, our weed is better, if you count Canada especially..lol..oour government sucks though for harsh drug laws and jail time. I have been to Europe,South America, Africa, and Asia and of course all over the US and to Canada, Europe has more laid back laws in most places for drugs, Portugal all drugs are Legal, That could never happen in the us...so both places have the good and bad things, it's all a matter of perspective, and I'm high so I doubt that makes any sense, becasue it does not really make sense to me right now..so anyway carry on! lol.

Don't worry, there are plenty of arseholes in Europe as well.

Europeans have become masters of sophistication and purveyors of culture, that ultimate commodity which sells all the others. They can dumbfound you with etiquette and silence you with their bon mots.

But Yankees have the money. The tourist dollar is assiduously courted throughout Europe. Cash can't buy you class but can make you pretty comfortable in your gaucheness.

Why, I'm a little short myself at the moment thanks to our cool European racehorses and can offer elocution lessons to any rich rubes looking to improve their social status. All together now, the raien in Spaien falls maienly on the plaiens.

Drive an F-Body style car around Europe. See where all the ladies flock to (not a lie).

You put big trucks and american muscle cars in europe and you end up with a bunch of female immigrants to the states.

Haha, but South America really has to take the cake....some years back when I was in Colombia visiting some family, I walked past a policeman smoking pot with some kids who couldn't have been older than 14. Granted, I shouldn't romanticize the place - Colombia is a pretty fucked up country.

But yeah, US drug laws are about as bad as they come....they seem to be getting a bit better over time, but they are still absolutely ridiculous.
 
Euros more cool than Americans? Don't think so.

Been to Germany and Greece and met Europeans from all over while in both places.

I can't say that they are cooler than us in any way...differ3ent , yes ...cooler, no way.

German are probably the most intelligent and culturally aware of other European nations in the world. They know more of the culture then most of the people living in the country you are discussing.

I speak German (not fluently) but most times when i spoke with a German they answered in English. most German folks would invite you to dinner if you knew them more than two weeks. I lived in Germany for more than a year and a half and got to eat a whole bunch.

There were some Germans who acted like the US and Germany were still at war, The less said the better, except they had a degree of arrogance that was off the scale.

Over all it was one of the best times of my life. Learned a lot of Philosophy over many bowls of Moroccan Black..=D.

In Greece everybody is out for themselves and will defraud you given half a chance.

Most Greeks don't give a hoot about the countries past cause they are bitterly preoccupied with disputes over racial purity against their Balkan and Asian neighbors.

The Europeans copy our music, our traditions, our slang expressions every thing.

In my travels it's my considered opinion that in vein of Cool, the US is the leaders and Europeans just copy us.
 
i saw this and had to say that euro's arent cooler than peole from the US its the same everywhere, theres cool people and trashy people all over the world. one thing i will give the euro's though is the music, i really just listen to edm (electronic dance music) and they control that whole scene on that front. iwould love to go to some of the super clubs over there and especially in Ibiza over the summer that would just rock!
 
It's not the Europeans you need to be worried about. The Australians are much cooler than you imo =D

EDM was born in Detroit, USA.

Only time I come in contact with it is Vampire movies....not my cup of tea.

Seems to be a hive mentality in the one or two clubs i went into locally. Stayed only five minutes and left.

My head buzzed like a high voltage line for two hours.. And I'm a guy who camped out to watch Pink Floyd live in Germany.
