I'd definitely get it checked out, man. How is your breathing? Has it slowed? Is it hard to breathe? or maybe not hard, but perhaps it takes more effort to breathe than normal?

I've never used needles, nor am I a doctor, but it looks like you've had an allergic reaction to something in the H. I've heard about people breaking out in hives and redness/swelling/bruising after injecting drugs. Don't take this lightly. Hives can be very serious. I had an allergic reaction to something before (not abusing drugs or anything) and my girlfriend had to take me to the ER because I was having a very difficult time breathing. The doctor gave me a shot of something (I wanna say benadryl, but I don't know for sure as this was many years ago) and it cleared up the hives and knocked me out.

Keep us informed, man. Regardless of what you decide to do, please be sure and come back and let us know what you decided and what the results were. Your experiences here could very well benefit many others in the future.

So it was more of a bacterial infection, prolly from not using a alchohol swap on the injection site before, or just bad luck with some dirt on my skin. It caused my arm to swell and cause that to happen. I was in the ER all day getting IVs and what not.

They gave me a IV of something with a V to lower the swelling and redness, but turns out i was allergic to that and started turning red with being super itchy and sick, so they had to do 2 hours of anti alergy reversal IV with benadryl to control it.

The doctor outlined my area of redness and if it goes passed the lines a lot i need to go back in. I'm also on some pills too twice a day for it.

They all said it was a really good idea I came in..

I appreciate all the opinions I'll keep updating as well.

p.s not doing drugs ever again, not worth it.

I shoot black tar h, usually somewhere in the crook of my arm or the side of my forearm facing outwards. I have gotten bumps like you have described frequently. Usually they'll go away completely within 5 or 6 days, although I did have one turn into an abcess. Nothing to really worry about the abcess went away and didn't get too horrible

In future if you decided to shoot use correct safe technique. By using an Alcohol swab, .22um wheel filter and sterile equipment the likely hood of this happening reduces 100 fold.

Glad to hear you're alright, man. Good idea to stay away from the drugs too lol. Thanks for keeping us updated and hopefully it will help someone in the future that has similar probs.

I got a better and safer idea than the above...how about you never shoot up again.

How bout you provide useful advice rather than posting useless smart ass comments like that. I think this thread is about ready to be closed.
