Julius Peppers was the best thing that ever happened to Carolina, and his exit was messy and awful.

one of my good online buddies is a Panthers fan, and he is pouring the whiskey tonight, he thinks this is a terrible choice for his team, and i concur. I have no idea who the Saints are going to pick. I am depressed that Patrick Peterson is leaving the South and going some fucking where I don't care about.

exactly, I cried when Mathew stafford went to the lions.

i'd argue Patrick Peterson is way better, I supported that guy for the darkhorse candidate for Heisman. he deserved it. He saved my Tigers many many a time.

im not trying to get into a dick measuring contest here:) Peterson is obviously a great talent. I was just referencing athlete near and dear to you going to crappy places.

Though I agree peterson>>stafford

yeah, it fucking sucks. i don't give two shits about arizona! at least go somewhere where i mildly care about, like the Lions getting Nick Fairley, or the Ravens, or the Falcons, or some other team I kind of care about, instead of Arizona, who i have no feelings for what so ever. :(

Well if you think you got it rough Im a Titans fan. I praise the lord we got rid of that B12 cry baby and coach 90's transitional mullet/ mustache combo. But our owner bud adams doesnt give a shit about winning only filling seats and its very clear now.

nah man i got it good now! i'm a Saints fan, a secret Lions fan because my grandfather was drafted by them, and a secret Ravens fan because that's where my moms family is from, and then a Falcons fan because a happy boyfriend = sex, dig? those are the only teams i can stand to see win. but like, i can't even name a single player on the Cardinals, except for Patrick Peterson now :(

oh come on, you know deep down your a huge Kurt warner fan <3

the Ohio State University's very own Cameron Heyward to my Pittsburgh Steelers is a defensive dream come true!

it was nice to see Wisconsin's JJ Watts go around the top 10, as a defensive end. I think he is going to tear it up

I also think AJ Green will have a very successful NFL career. sometimes I almost wish the Steelers didn't win so much every year, so my team could have a shot at some of these top 10 high caliber athletes that ya'll get to swoop up

hahaha

Mark Ingram is also a solid lock in the NFL. just look at how well Peyton Hillis has been doing for Cleveland, and he was Bama's fullback if I recall correctly

Ingram is a good football player, I've been following him since his first appearances. Julio is a bit streaky but I can see that changing... late in last season he was very dependable. I'd still rather have AJ on my team though!

Edit- Oh, and Jake Locker going before Gabbert or Ponder?!? The hell? Cam Newton is hard to defend as the first pick as well, but you guys surely know that already...

i almost shed some fucking tears when the interview lady read the email from his ring winning dad and he cried :(

fucking emotional mang

^Yeah, that was pretty intense...

why you gotta spring some words from the father like that on the kid.

i mean, he just made one of the biggest moves of his life, and then his dad says all those words sons wait lifetimes for, and he's gotta do it on TV. like shit man, everyone wants their dad to say things like that to them :(

Pittsburgh swooping up CBs and O-line, no surprise here as these are the positions that the team truly needed

I'm still high over the Cam Heyward draft. a defensive beast like Killa Cam has to be in 7th Heaven playing under a Dick LeBeau led defense. Heyward knows that he will be taken care of

As a student of Fresno state (a WAC school) im pretty stoked about the 9ers taking Colin Kapernick in the 2nd round. I got to watch Kapernick destroy my Bulldogs over the last few years and it would be kinda cool to see him succeed as a QB on my NFL team in the future. I'm definately bias but i think he's one of the better QB's in the draft and getting him early in the 2nd round makes up for the 9ers passing on blane gabbert, who is overated IMO. Hopefully after another inevitably dreadful season from alex smith he can be history for the niners.

On the other hand ive never even heard of Aldon Smith, some DE from missou who is very young that the 9ers got in the first round, 7th overall pick, 2 spots away from where peterson got taken, and so close to getting a true elite player like von miller or marcel dareus.... would have been nice to have traded up somehow.

So I guess the lockout is still technically on, since the courts granted the owners a stay, meaning nothing changes during the appeals process. So some court will basically decide in a month or so weather we have a football season or not, if they side with the players then we wont miss any games and the old CBA will basically be in effect, if they side with the owners its likely there will be a lockout in september.
