The Engagement/Wedding/Honeymoon thread

So we've just arrived home from joannie_mhm's and pl4yer 0ne's wedding.

WOW.

Stunning venue, dapper groom and Jo took everyone's breath away with how absolutely stunning she looked. Seriously, everyone gasped at how radiant she was. I won't say any more as i'm sure she will post a photo, but Pop and I couldn't have been more honoured to share their day. ARGH I'm so filled with love and happiness! This weekend was also a chance to see some really great friends and also to make new ones - I finally got to meet and spend some quality time with n3o! YAY! :D

This weekend was serious soul food, and seeing Jo & P1 so happy was the main course <3

I know! As it was, our cab driver got lost on the way, so we were running about 15 minutes late. We threw money at the driver, jumped out and ran to the venue, where we found Jo outside with her dad. I was floored at how gorgeous she was and got all leaky-eyed. <3 It really was a perfect afternoon/evening too :D

We all get to do it again next month, when another friend gets married in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales - we've hired a 6 bedroom house which is a mere 700m from the venue, easy stumbling distance. There are 9 of us sharing the house (including Jo & P1), so excited! Weddings are just wonderful <3

I LOVED Jo's dress! Gorgeous!! I agree she looked incredible <3
Also loved that P1 was wearing sneakers, super cute when grooms do that =D

AR, I like the bridesmaids' dresses, they can be worn again and are very stylish. :) Nice work!
 
MP - Thank you for the compliment. :) I think they'll look nice on my bridesmaids who are on the bustier side.

I'm going to air a bitch-rant: My step-mom bought her fucking dress after I specifically asked her NOT to buy her dress until my mom bought her's so it wasn't awkward. I told her we were buying mom's this weekend so it can't be hard to hold off, right? Of course she dumbly and selfishly bought one anyway. So I had to send an email to my mom with the dress my step-mom bought to make sure my mom didn't think it was too similiar to hers. What. the. fuck.? It's not that hard. Mother of the bride gets priority. She has spent enough on this for fucks sake. Thank God the dresses aren't that similiar but why put someone in that position in the first place? GAH.
