Started watching The Boondocks from the beginning again last night. Such a great show, probably the funniest animated series I have ever watched. Uncle ruckus is absolutely legendary.

Just finished watching the Malaysian GP, it was really good race. Although, I wish Vettel had a little more competition.
 
^^ Yesterday's Chinese race was a classic. Some superb stuff from Hamilton and Webber. Eat that Red Bull ( I can ignore the fact that Webber is a Red Bull driver since he clearly is a one man team on his own with little support :))

Since there are footy and even (argh) Cricket threads, I think I should start a F1 thread, but I suspect there won't be many fans here for some reason. Not sure why.

Anyway, I really came here to give a big heads up to anyone with access to Sky Atlantic. Tonight sees an adaptation of one of my all time favourite books....The Game Of Thrones by George R R Martin. On face value it would seem to be the same old tired swords and horses fantasy. But it is soooo much more than that. At least the books are. We'll see how the adaptation is. But if true to the books, it's hard hitting, gory, brutal, disturbing, and thoroughly absorbing. Wonderfully written, with characters dripping with originality and strength who you truly love to hate, this is one series I can't wait for. My main gripe is that the long awaited 5th book has been delayed for the last 2 years because of this series. So it had better be fukin good!

Anyway, watch it if you can. Better still, read the books.
 
Did anyone watch Panorma earlier? The Trillion Dolar Conman. Some fat fuck with no money, bought Notts County FC for a quid claiming he'd bring multimillions in from the Bahrain Royal Family, then got millions of shares in a London Bank which he used to convince Notss County he was legit then got millions of quid out of middle eastern royalty and then signed a deal with North Korea with the help of Svern Goren Erickson and a member of MI5 for his non existant and very fake company to mine their raw materials. Conned everyone, managed to fool them all. Hiding out in Bahrain in luxury apartments now. LEGEND! :D

No point in defending F1. You either love it or hate it. Still far more entertaining than kicking an inflatable up and down some grass, or beating the shit out of a small ball with a piece of wood to see how far you can hit it. But it takes all sorts.

As for Game of Thrones, I did say on the face of it, it seems like the same old tired formula, but it's so much more than that. And that's from someone who hates standard sword and sorcery shit. Still, your loss :p

Agreed on the football thing, most sports are pish tbh. I like American Football & Basketball occasionally but couldn't watch games every week or I'd get sick of it.

I'll give that Game of Thrones a go, if you claim to not be into that sort of shit but still think it's good then it's worth a shot. It did look really cheap though, which is surprising for a big HBO show.
 
Not yet, I watched half of the season but im gonna wait till its over then watch them back to back.

Hope you liked it after I'd built it up so much! I recorded it and won't be watching till the weekend. I really can only vouch for the books. I have no idea on the quality of the series until I see it. Usually screen adaptations never capture the magic of a book though, so we'll see....

I've got it downloaded, gonna watch it tonight. I love Fringe, not my usual type of show but big Walter's casual drug taking make it hilarious.

I've not watched Game of Thrones yet Nomy, gonna wait till it's a few episodes in then download them.
 
Dunno if it's been said already but I've really enjoyed seasons one and two of Sons of Anarchy. Going to download Season 3 once I get my 100mb goodness installed on Wednesday :D

Anyone thought about hosting a private FTP server?
 
Right, I haven't read any of this thread yet but I'm pretty sure some of you are watching breaking bad. Currently up to halfway through the 2nd season and I ask ye bluelight warriors, does anyone else want to punch Skyler right in the face?

Honestly every time her face sly's its way onto the screen I just wanna start headbutting and I don't know why, just one of those faces :\
