Good lord am I nodding hard right now :) Bout to watch American Gangster as suggested by Llama.

Lol my 14 year old brother is gonna get high on 4/20 with his friends. I've smoked with him twice before but I've grown up a bit now and I'm a bit wary. He's a total genius with a lot of potential and I don't want him to do what I do to be honest :\

He's gonna do it regardless of what I say, so I told him I'd provide the stuff for him. Smoke it with him in our own home, and told him he could call me all day if he needs anything. Am I handling this ok?

A fucking awesome film....By and large, I approve of any film in which someone is set on fire though.

I watcehd Goodfellas last night, good movie...

And also slightly nodalicious, I haven't taken opies for a while so thought I'd eat a bunch of methadone and codeine pills....Methadone is a weird opiate, takes so long to kick in but gives the longest fucking high...:)

I wouldn't get it for him personally. Defintely be there for him and make sure he's not too fucked up, and ask to check the weed before they smoke, but I think purchasing it for him is a bit much.

Or maybe ask him where he's getting it, if its somewhere dodgy, then step in with your offer. Part of the fun I had when I was 12 involved hugely long train rides to get weed, painting trains and burning shit...

Actually, just get the weed for him :D

As far as strategies go, that one's not too bad. I can never stop myself from using opiates so long as I have any, but am generally capable of putting off buying things, so I'll probably end up doing that when I get back into using them proper at some point. But for now I'll continue the infrequent use of them whenever I can get'em free.

Yeah it's not like I haven't provided for him before...he doesn't even have anywhere else to get any I don't think. Eventually I'm sure he'll meet a dealer of his own and can enjoy the adolescent adventure of cannabis seeking haha. I didn't actually jump in and offer he just asked me a million questions about dollar amounts and how much they weigh, and different qualities hahaha. I was like "so you need me to get you weed or what?".

I'm gonna make sure these kids pace themselves lol. I don't even know where to get midgrade anymore.

I haven't tried methadone before, right now I'm just snorting some really, really nice heroin. I don't know how we get such good quality powder here so far inland. I'm a lil nauseous though now :P and no pot to help...wah
 
I've been on a documentary kick today:

DMT - the spirit molecule (about DMT, it was ok, not that great, lots of trippy visualization animations which were trippy but as a documentary it didn't have a ton of info)

The Mark of Cain (about russian prisoners and the tatoos they use, very good, pretty sad)

Ibogaine - Rite of Passage (about ibogaine and its use to treat heroin and other addicts as well as its traditional use in Africa, pretty good, but short)

The Union (A pro-cannabis/hemp documentary, actually very good and with good interviews and interesting locations including the underground grow made up of 20 buried railway cars)

Documentaries are fun.

Just swigged down a spoonful of ginger with some water. Hopefully I'll feel less sick. It's weird usually if an opiate is gonna make me sick its right with the onset then dissipates, this time it showed up later and I was just laying in bed.
 
^How do you find snorting heroin? I'm not sure if I ever have....I actually dont like \dope that much, I would much rather morphine; they should feeewl the same as each other but justt don't...

Right, time to eat some foodies, probably pasta and pesto and then watch pineapple express...

I've only tried morphine orally and prefer the high to heorin. It's a rather effective method though, snorting it. With my tolerance I only need tiny lines to feel it, I don't like nodding my face off every time. Last night I did a lil more than I wanted and felt like shit til I slept :P

I prefer the feeling of oxycodone and many other pharms to heroin actually, more sanctifying somehow. Heroin promotes reodosing for me.
 
Is heroin shorter acting than oxycodone?

I never got much from morphine both orally and insufflated, found both oxycodone and hydromorphone more enjoyable.




Hey Willow, if you have a minute and feel like it could you just give this first track a quick listen and tell me if the kick and bass sound good, I think I've got the bass alright, but the kick might be poo cause it's actually two kicks layered on top of each other, although I think I EQ'ed it okay. Also I know all the other sounds need a LOT of work, I just wanted to get some good bass goin on first.

Give me all the criticism you've got :)
