exactly how I feel about. I could be processing my own unlimited amount in a lab and i would still be missing something.

4/20 I was supposed to see Mogwai in Philly. I've been pumped for this show seriously since like January. Yesterday while Mogwai was trying to get into North America to start their NA tour they had some problems with their visas and the tour was cancelled! Sooo bummed, like really, really bummed. Had everything ready for it :( Ah well, now I have to wait til October to see them again.
I don't like long gaps between my Mogwai gigs.. And this one was on 4/20! At the place I saw them many years ago for the first time! And I was going to be with my girlfriend who likes Mogwai but has yet to experience them live. Feels bad man. And after 4/20 show they were still having 2 more in New York City in the following days, so I was gonna try to catch one of those also.(They usually go to Philly first, so I catch them there. Then they do a show or two in Brooklyn or Manhattan and I live close enough to both Philly and NYC that I get usually at least a double dose of Mogwai)
Woe is me..

Sorry for the rant! Thanks for bearing with it. I don't know why I chose this thread to type it up in, but that's how it fell into a place. I'm blazed.
 
Yeahhh, The feeling of bummedness was a little surprising. I can't believe I had that much of an emotional attachment to an event such as that. But I really did I guess. Sorta makes me appreciate them and their music a little bit more in a twisted way.

But anyway, nothing is up atm. Got home from work a few hours ago. Toked a couple bowls, can't sleep yet. & I have the next two days off :) Sleeping in & beach combing are on the to-do list.

How are you tonight alanty?
 
I habe had a chill night, can't sleep either :P I been wanting to go to the beach lately too weather has been nice.

Eh, sorry, didn't see that post earlier....The kick sounds fine, nice and sharp...The bass sounds a bit odd to my ears; very clicky? Ease off on the attack of the bass a bit, or add a LP filter before sending it to the channel strip. Have you compressed the bass and kick together, because the clicky bit sounds like compressor artefacts...?

A really easy way to make a psytrance bass is- sawtooth wave- send to LP filter, and use a filter envelope wherein you have attack at 0, decay at about 15% , no sustain and full release. Send whatever amount you desire to the envelope. You get a sort of plucky sound.

Do you use reason at all, because I could send you some bass patches..?
