do you think my regular use of marijuana adds to my depression?
Statistically there is a strong correlation but I haven't seen any research that demonstrates a causal link between marijuana use and depression. A lot of the social and environmental factors that are found in people with depression are also found in people who smoke marijuana so its not surprising that there is a substantial overlap in the two populations.
More likely than marijuana use causing some kind of neurochemical changes that lead to depression, is that unhealthy dependence on any substance or behavior is likely to exacerbate mental illness.
Then stop. Figure out the reason why your smoking everyday and do something to fix it. Weed is probably the worst drug to use for a reality escape. Your mental state will be exacerbated.well it is somewhat of a rarity if i go a day without smoking
anything can cause depression depending on the degree of consumption...
...if you masturbate all day youll feel like shit and like a nobody, same with playing
video games in excess and eating in excess....
..i've been on some binges in my life and at the time they were fun but the days following it were even worse
the key is to smoke only once or twice a day at night to wind down, i found it is soo much more rewarding and you get ripppedd
Not even that much. When you smoke more than once a week, the significance of the effects is really dulled. Smoking and being only relaxed and calmer is really sad. Not when it happens because you like light highs, but because that's the only thing your tolerance will allow.
It may, depending on the circumstances and the frequency of your use.
