Joint Rolling - European vs. American Methods

I'm Canadian and I roll with cardboard roaches and tobacco. Cones. I'm also Dutch though, maybe there's some sort of genetic factor here :P
 
Here in canada most people roll it all one thickness with a filter but i like to cone mine with no filter. Your considered a hippy if you do it that way here. I think it tastes way better without the filter

I used to smoke out of bongs but they all broke except one, and my dad threw away the other one when i moved i think because i couldn't find it last time i was at his house >.< Can't afford a new one yet.
 
Yeah man, that's a huge reason I rip j's half and half, cuz I am always breaking bowls, bubblers, bongs, my vaporizer, you name it. I like joints done up half and half with a bit of hash.

It saves weed but lets you have a full smoke, which is just satisfying in its own way.
 
I've been vaping keif that I've been collecting recently...omg it's awesome. Rolled nice 75% keif 25% weed blunt on my birthday. I was a little worried that most of it would burn up though (I was really fucked up and idk if the blunt did anything haha).
 
I grew up rolling an all herb, no crutch or filter joint and/or blunt. I thought it was the only good way to do it, until I went to visit Europe. I'm convinced that the cone shaped Euro spliff with a crutch is the best way to roll now. Unfortunately, I have not mastered this technique and I still roll joints like an American :(
 
Does anyone here roll with a Dollar Bill?

I always get comment about how my J's look like cigarettes because i put a cardboard crutch in and roll them decently wide with a dollar bill to make them perfectly round (or perfectly coned if I want). You just use it like a rolling machine kinda...
 
I totally know what you mean when an American passes you a short tumor filled loose uneven burning all weed joint. "I'm alright mate" haha. Rolling with tobacco and roach (crutch, filter) is the most efficient way of rolling joints. It burns properly all the way Down you don't wasted weed at the end by burning lips. And a nice cone looks so
Much better than a joint that looks like it was stuck together by a four year old with 7 fingers.
 
^ I'm an American and I'm pretty sure I can roll better than your sorry ass. Not everyone likes cancerous tobacco and most smart people roll with filters. Don't hate just to HATE. A cannabis lover should know that bigotry for no reason is stupid.

You may have misinterpreted - I don't use the dollar bill, I roll the paper using the dollar bill. Just to make sure we are on the same page.

That's a pretty big claim to make, hollow aswell being as we will never find out. You Seem really hung up on your rolling culture just saying I prefer our way. A lot of the reason we roll better "looking" joints is we smoke roll up cigs that of I'm not mistaken Is almost unheard of over there. We all know a tight even joint that looks good generally toakes and smokes far better than a poorly rolled bifta.

If you're going to make the claim that cigarette rolling ability has some correlation with joint rolling, I would be a good example of that. =)
 
Im surprised that even among potheads nationality is an issue :p Of course youre going to prefer the joint youve been accustomed to, but if someone is nice enough to share their drugs with me Im not gonna jump on their case about how it was rolled. Personally the idea of rolling weed and tobacco together is just killing the bud's taste (and Im a smoker) and if youre really so concerned with waste then you should probably use a bong/vape/bowl.

Remind me when Europe was a nation ;) yes binge pipes and vapeing is thenmost efficent but nowhere near as social.

What do you mean by social? The bud is still getting smoked. Who cares?


I almost always have negative experiences with Cannabis, but if I didn't, I could care less if someone wants to use an apple for a pipe, a water bottle for a bong, or a fucking dollar bill as a joint. Free bud is free bud.
