know it all kn0bs that think they know all about drugs...? and BS stories you've hear

What about the classic piece of bullshit that parents get scared with:

"Dealers are giving out free samples of heroin and LSD to schoolkids in order to get them hooked. Then they'll come back forever!"

Or dealers lacing weed with heroin to get u hooked on it!

What a load of bollocks! As if you're going to get dealers giving away ANYTHING for free, let alone good expensive heroin that they cud sell on its own.
 
Being told MDMA was an "off cut" of ecstasy. I just stared blankly at him for about a minute before. Walking away
 
i've been assured that ecstasy is addictive, and not in the 'everything has addiction potential way,' but because it releases serotonin, of which there is apparently a constantly replenished supply in our brains. i didn't really want to admit too much knowledge on the subject to the person saying this so just said 'wow! i didn't know that' and swiftly changed the subject.

also this pisses me off and is just plain untrue 'i can have just as much fun as you without drugs,' yes of course you can have a lot of fun and even at times rushes of euphoria without drugs but afaik the fun from a lot of drugs can't be replicated naturally, or at least i'm missing out big time.
 
Drug addicts are liars. They are over compensating for whatever it is they are lacking by doing drugs in the first place. It's only natural that they try to tell bullshit stories on top of it. That's why when drug addicts get sober they only hang out with themselves; normal people don't have the patience for childish bullshit.

Orange juice 'bringing you down' off pills / trips is one of my favourites. Have these people ever tried drinking orange juice whilst out of it? They'd be in for a surprise...

I actually did this a long time ago, during a really bad mushroom trip. It actually seemed to help, but it was clearly just placebo. Looking back, there's no way that this would work.

Ditto!! I was having a bad mushroom experience too, many, many years ago (it involved paramedics, police and my parents coming back home whilst they were there8o8o).

Anyway, I drank some orange juice (I heard it was the vitamin C in it) and again, it seemed to work but as is the case with acid/shrooms etc, it's all about ur state of mind so if u think it'll make u feel better and bring u down then u probably will start to feel better. Plus more time equals less effect it's having on ur system so that'd make a difference too. Placebo for me.

some clubs in holland used to have a orange flavoured drink that cancelled out mdma if someone had a bad reaction/overdid it ,the staff gave you the anti-e drink to bring you down,so this may have come out of that originally.
 
Best placebo effect I had was also on mushrooms, but with kosher Coke from Israel which had been stashed for a while. May have been the caffeine or the sugar, but it took the trip to a whole other level. :)

That's interesting about the 'anti-MDMA' drink. What did it contain in order to have such an effect?
 
donno what was in it,they just called it anti-e,
and it pretty much did what it said on the tin,as i found out got some capsules from dutch guy, i remember him saying only take 1 and wait for 2 hours,(of course i knew better:\,)took 1 ,waited half an hour-nothing,took another,waited half an hour-still nothing,now convinced myself they were duds,took another - and two hours on the dot.... i went into orbit-drenched in sweat rushing so much i was passing in and out,unable to speak ,so fucked it was unreal,the guy went and got the anti-e after half an hour i was reasonable fine apart from scaring the shit out of me=D=taxi back to hotel,
next day i got a visit from the dutch guys from the club ,they came to visit and see how i was(really nice of them as i had never met them before),they were still out and just back from the after party,guy had a large jam jar full of e`s,poured me a handfull and said to enjoy my holiday,
lesson learned;)
 
^ You could inject an entire barrel full of air without any problems, as far as I know. I do have a bad habit of licking needles before use though even though I know how stooopid it is 8)


Most recent comedy drug myth I heard is of supposed "synthetic ketamine" doing the rounds. Suspect they may possibly mean MXE but tickled me immensely. I did ask what part of standard ketamine isn't synthetic and was told "Yeah, ket is sort of synthetic but this stuff is actually synthetic and is really dangerous". I obviously said they're welcome to give any suspected synthetic ketamine to me for analysis and safe disposal cos I'm nice like that :)

PS: That "Anti-E" thing can't be right surely? Have never heard of such a thing but if there is then why is it not used medically in cases of MD "OD"?

a pretty full on locals night,open drug use mdma caps,sugarcubes with acid etc,the dj,s were wasted as well,they all were pretty up to speed in dealing with that kind o problem,can't say what was in it but it they brought it to me as anti-e,I always wondered why I never saw it in the uk,the talk about the orange juice reminded me of it,the dutch have always had a more common sense attitude to these things,what with testing etc,when I was going there several times a year,regular as clockwork;) great times,looking back its unreal how things were,maybe some of the dutch bl,ers would know if they were around back then,would be interesting to find out what it was,

But am a good, law-abiding boy now, of course.

Definitely never heard of that Anti-E stuff though - something like that would surely be a very valuable substance to the medical profession (assuming it's not highly iffy to use and potentially worse than on OD).

The OJ trip abortion stuff seems to be very widespread and many swear it to be a fact - must admit it appeared to work on the person who tried it at my 18th but can't see any reason beyond placebo that it would. In the US OJ is often said to potentiate shrooms - I'd almost prefer their myths to ours :D
 
Aye i could have been anything eh,I also remember you could buy "after e's" ha ha,was a big horsepill full of vitamins and minerals and stuff t help your bod after caning it over the weekend,only the dutch could think of after e's eh,:D
 
Ya. Some sites still sell those kinda products but they may have more poncy-sounding names now to make them seem less snake-oily. Best After-E cure is a few lines of ket anyway =D

Although as ket was legal too then maybe that;s why the horse pills were so big :D
