Quite enjoy Cowboy Builders on Channel 5. Like the fact that scumbags get hunted down. However, it's a shame that the presenters are cunts. Melinda Messenger is a cunt. The builder guy she works with is a cunt. Dominic Littlewood is a slightly lesser cunt. Channel 5 need to sort their presenters out. I only watch this and The Gadget Show, and I hate all the presenters. I know I shouldn't expect anything else from Channel 5.
 
Perhaps some of you guys could recommend some good British shows for me to watch?

I am huge fan of Peep Show (although they are getting a little old) and Louis Theroux's documentaries. Mighty Boosh is all right as well, although sometimes it gets boring. Maybe some BBC documentaries?
 
Try Shameless for some comedy-drama. Misfits is amazing - highly recommended. Give those two a go, and let us know how you get on.

Charlie brookers latest series "how tv ruined your life" is worth a watch. His other shows are pretty good although it might not be as good to someone who isn't familiar with British tv.

how about Two and a Half Men? the americans seem to love it. and it's always on in our smoker's TV room at work (when there's no football on ... even though i never hear anyone actually laughing at it.

how it can actually be classed as a comedy, i have no idea. charlie sheen is much funnier off screen.

I've been subjected to it a few times. I HATE laugh tracks. I didn't laugh despite them dictating to me when I should laugh.

he just completely fucked off a dream job with a pay of well over $1,000,000 per episode, during which all he had to do - once a week - was read some extremely unfunny lines from an autocue in front of about 20 camera crew (no actual audience, of course), acting as a parody of himself. it's not like he even failed a drugs test or ran someone over in his Hummer or knocked out the director... he would have got away with all of that, it would have been expected.

fuck knows what he'll do now, cos that was as good as it'll ever get for him.

why am i talking about this? gahhhh.
 
That's what makes him the man. Not because he does have all that money and that's what he could do, Because that's probably what he's doing right now.

BTW The first time I read that was better than what was written. I read

" He's probably already loaded though & thought he'd rather just cut about off his tits, with his two smoking birds, getting hummers taking ching & shouting "WINNING!!!!" all the time.
 
He's just been asked to direct a porn film called 'Two and a Half Women'! I well would.
