Just got prescribed Lorazepam

Plus SSRI KILL UR SEX DRIVE

fuck that i rather have panic attacks and self medicate myself than take any SSRI

2mg under the tongue should be good to go, good luck on your presentation


Lorazepam affects on me :

drowsiness, dizziness, tiredness;

muscle weakness, lack of balance or coordination;

amnesia or forgetfulness, trouble concentrating;


Uses for Lorazepam:
* Anxiety
* Cervical Dystonia
* Dysautonomia
* ICU Agitation
* Insomnia
* Light Anesthesia
* Nausea/Vomiting
* Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced
* Panic Disorder
* Sedation
* Status Epilepticus

Ditto that!

I self medicate with mild opiates. Mainly hydrocodone, tramadol, and kratom. They all work really well for my situation. I still have a script for Valium, but I HATE benzos. I refuse to take them because they make me too sleepy.


I'm not going to tell you to mix your Ativan with hydrocodone to feel sedated -- that would be just downright irresponsible.

i wish i got those affects from my lorazepam. How much do i need to take to get them?

Today i got me some hydrocodone for school. :)

Careful with the benzos bro, you're going to get addicted. Start taking them when you need it, or you'll be begging your doc for another script.

im already able to get another script. I just want to know the starting recreational dose. I took 2mg but still nothing physically noticeable. Just my mind blocking the anxiety and making me want to talk.

You've already taken 10mg..... I'd just leave it if I didn't feel anything at that high a dose. I advice you to stick with the opiates for recreation and use the Lorazepam for anxiety relief, for your own good. Maybe get some xanax, they might work.

no i never tried 10mg of lorazepam. I get high from 10mg hydrocodone. The most lorazepam i ever took was 2 mg. I want to know when i will start to feel recreational effects from lorazepam.
 
Totally out of this conversation and didn't read through much of it, I've been in jail last 8 days but got to respond to a Pantera post. If 2mg makes you more social and gets rid of your anxiety than how is that a bad thing? Anyway, from my experience Lorazepam is the least sedating of all benzodiazepines. It's very hard to get intoxicated from it. If 2mg doesn't do it then try 4mg and see how that goes but I wouldn't do that at school because its a little different than getting drunk, it just makes you stumble around, trip on yourself and fall down, mumble stupid shit and feel real drowsy that you don't want to move from where you are, just nod out. Its like getting drunk without the euphoria and more side effects. But remember, if you are "trying" to get this way its pretty hard to from Lorazepam. So try 4mg, see how it goes.

Multiple studies have shown oxazepam to be the least sedating benzo, but aside from that - 4 mg of lorazepam for someone who claims to be a lightweight is a bit much IMO.

Lorazepam may be a subtle benzo, but it is a very toxic benzo. It's also an high potency benzo. It's amnesic properties are probably one of the best among all benzos, on par with midazolam and triazolam. It's anxiolytic properties are top notch, it hits the same subunits that mediate anxiolysis that alprazolam, clonazepam, and diazepam hit. So it's on par with them. It's a powerful anticonvulsant, moreso than both diazepam and clonazepam.

It's a severely underrated benzodiazepine. I don't like it much and it doesn't have much recreational value to me, but it is not a benzo to be taken lightly. It's serious shit.

ok thanks. I'll try 4mg next time and see how it goes.

also, 10mg hydrocodone doesnt work anymore. :(

Tried it today and felt alittle but pretty much nothing. And i took a month off too. and after trying it today. nothing

yeah it sucks.

This lorazepam is very tricky. I never feel anything at all. It somehow made me not have a panic attack during my presentation and made me want to talk to people at a 2mg dose. I feel that if i take more of it that I will actually feel something and actually talk to people im uncomfortable around and just be myself and TRULY not care. because i still cared about some stuff and still has some anxiety. I want it to be like some say "You really WONT care at all".
 
and after taking the lorazepam i think i was expecting to feel a high sorta like hydrocodone which i know i shouldnt have. I was expecting some sort of drugged up feeling though

So what are your suggestions for a starting point? Keep in mind i got high off 5mg of hydrocodone and now take 10mg and i feel perfect. So im a lightweight.

Also keep in mind that I dont plan on eating anything so it will be on an empty stomach.
