Could you tell the difference between an rc and mdma?

Ok, Recently I have experimented with a couple of mdma analogues, I have not had real MDMA for 2 or 3 years but when I took bk-mdma it seemed EXACTLY like mdma.

Awhile ago a friend had real deal mdma but was convinced it was mephedrone and only the test kit would change his mind.

My question, Do you think you could tell the difference between one of these rc's and real mdma in a double blind test? Do you think the average E user could?

I know I could not, but, I am not really into rolling.

Experts?


(BTW this was out of curiousity only, reading about how ppl cant tell the dif between IV ritalin and cocaine and thought, I bet thats true for rolls as well"
 
The average E user doesn't even know what MDMA is so it would not suprise me they they couldn't tell the difference.

not having MDMA in over 10 years myself...I doubt I could tell the difference.
 
MDxx last i knew means MDE or MDA (or MDMA) and not BK-MDMA or any analogues liek that...
 
Have not tried any rc's, so I cant comment on that.

But seriously man wouldn't it make more sense to narrow it down? I dont even know which rc's you are talking about, or which form of ecstasy for that matter...MDA? MDMA? 2-CB? 2-CI? etc etc

well, after not taking MDMA for 8 years, my first bk-MDMA experience very much felt like the real deal.
Until I got my hands on some pure molly.... and let me tell ya, it is different, very much so....
bk-MDMA totally lacks the magic MDMA has.
It feels nice as long as you do not remember the real thing.
There is no substitude for real MDMA.
 
Absolutely, im pretty positive I could tell the difference between MDMA, Methylone, Mephedrone and MDAI with ease.
 
Lol. It really depends what RC you're talking about. Meph and methylone are very similar in feeling compared to mdma.
 
To answer your question- the first time I tried methylone (and every time after that), myself and my friends agreed that if we had taken it thinking it was MDMA, we would have either thought it must have been low-dose or we were "losing some magic". Methylone is quite possibly the most similar RC to MDMA, but without the same intensity or lengthy duration.

Mephedrone has felt indistinguishable at times too, but sometimes it's been even better in the "happy and social" department- it feels like what rolling for the first time does, but more clear headed and less visual. The distinct different is the energy level and the ego enhancement that's more similar to cocaine- this is a give away that it's not MDMA.

2c-i is also similar in my book, but without any desire to re-dose, and very visual and almost stoned/silly.

Ultimately, I never suggest that an RC can 100% feel like MDMA. It's different- some prefer the lighter roll of methylone over MDMA.
 
Absolutely. I think mephedrone and pure MDMA are as close as it will get, and they are even still quite different and very distinguishable. Also, there's no mistaking the mephedrone stink you get after taking it. Dunno if other RC's do this.
 
If I assumed I had no tolerence to any of the substances and its high quality stuff I think I could tell the difference.
 
IMO the difference is that the duration with methylone is much shorter and methylone is more subtle. Sadly, subtle doesn't mean much to somebody who hasn't done both but is really clear to people who have. I haven't been able to come up with anything that more succinctly defines the difference.

This too. Mephedrone lasts barely over an hour. MDMA lasts all night!!

Lastly, dosages are very different too.
 
ive possibly tried meph/methylone, "mollys plant food", (not reccomending at all, not my bag cause i can get MDMA easy anyway) and that (i assume its meph....) just felt liek MDMA a little bit for about a half hour. Like MD+amphet, but a higher dose of phet overpowering the MD if you understand what im saying
 
I would never mistake 2ci for MDMA, their profiles just aren't the same. I too find bk-MDMA less intense than E, especially in the tactile area. With E I feel like my entire skin has an energy burning off of me. I don't get that at all from bk-MDMA. Never (knowingly) tried Mephedrone so I can't speak to that.

Exactly. Shulgin pretty much said the same thing:
"[Methylone] has almost the same potency of MDMA, but it does not produce the same effects. It has an almost antidepressant action, pleasant and positive, but not the unique magic of MDMA."
 
I've been doing (legit) MDMA and MDA pretty heavily since late 08'. There was a short period when i didn't have a good connect and ended up taking pipes, meth, and a few other MDxx...

I haven't tried methylone or any of the 2Cs but i bet i could distinguish them. Even MDMA and MDA are pretty easy to distinguish, but i know people who can't

YMMV i guess
