Painkillers the four stages

there isn't much of nothing a coffee at least cant fix

I have been nodding while o have been reading this and I love the itch it always feels so good

Oh man same here. I get very constipated to the point where I won't take a shit for 2 or more weeks and when I do I always clog the toilet and its impossible to unclog. I literally had a shit over a foot long!
 
Completely agree with grumpy wookie they do the same thing to me and a few of my friends it's horrible when your in public
 
Im at number 3 right now god damn it first time ive felt the itch in months cause of tolerance and just using everyday and now ive cut down to like twice a week which is great for me.

What was even nastier was when trying to unclog the toilet after that the plunger back fired and my shit flew all over in the air and the bathroom was covered with shit including my shirt that I was wearing. I'm yelling "oh shit, oh shit, its shit" and after hearing me my girlfriend arrives at the bathroom door and gets a good look at our shit covered bathroom, sprayed everywhere, against the walls and the hamper and shower curtains. Shit everywhere. Damn the foot long monster!

It took us hours to clean everything up and we had to toss all of the carpet.

The longest I ever went w/o taking a shit was 2 days no matter how many opiates ive used. As far as the itch goes, I hardly get it.
 
Hmm, Well some people don't like the itch However i defiantly do :P and now more than before i don't even notice it or it never happens. i think its when your new to it that it happens. something to do with tolerance I'm sure, also i cant find the Regular Damn OC's just the annoying OP's And its really hard for me to get high off them so that may be it. Anyway your lucky it doesn't affect your GI Tract Like me :( I'm jealous

:X Your constipation situation sounds just like mine! I can usually get it to come out once a week, sometimes it'll take 2. I'm always so scared when I feel it wanting to start coming out that I usually hold it in for another day or two, it hurts so bad! It's always so big from bein in my colon that long, sometimes a foot long, and here lately as wide as a can of soda 8o. It's always really dry too, meaning that it takes longer to pass AND it isn't malleable/compressible... so whatever shape/width it is in my colon is how it comes out and MAN :!, let me tell you, I don't know how my poor asshole survives the brutality that my colon puts it through. I don't know how I haven't hurt myself trying to push these turds (if you even want to call them this, more like shit logs, honestly) through.

Is there any medical problems that can result from poo like this, such as ripping open of the asshole, or just straight up can't shit?
 
This is how it goes for me with my methadone

1. Initial onset: The dope sickness fades and I feel tingling sensation pass through my whole body as if the life were returning to it. This happens within 5-10mins.

2. The high: The best part of course. Euphoria and analgesic effects last for 2-4 hours.

3. The nod: This isn't as enjoyable for me as it is for others as I hate being sleepy. It is better than regular tired and can have its good moments though. This lasts for several hours until I either pass out or push through the other side.

4. Back to earth: I slowly begin to feel worse and worse until I dose again. It is not all that bad if I don't get past 24 hours and is only moderate for the next 24 until the full on dope sick hits.


I never get much of an itch. The constipation sucks but I never go more than a few days without dumping. Make sure you get a lot of fiber! Drink a lot of water! and if you still can't shit then take stool softeners.

It is very unhealthy to let it build up for a week or two......seriously, don't do that.

the seriousness of the constipation for me was not even fully apparent until i came off the opiates.

i was appalled, dsiturbed to realize that for almsot 2 years, shitting once a week was totally normal and in fact i rarely noticed the infrequency.

once i was back to normal i was like, omg, it WAS really bad.

so glad those days are over (8 months opiate free on 2*13*11):D

Good for you brother!!!! I don't even know you and I am proud of you.

From a long term methadone addict, please stay off of them from now on.

I am working hard to get to the point where I can say the same thing you are.
