I finally got my hands on some insulin injection needles and I'm planning on trying IVing for my first time next week. I'm excited but nervous about it. I've always been interested in IVing and I want to learn how to do it.
For a while now I've been reading everything I can about how to do it correctly and I think I've got it.
But, since this is a harm reduction forum... is there any advice in general that anyone would be able to give me?
For practice, I was thinking about giving myself an injection with just plain tap water first to give myself a chance to get the technique down. Is this advisable?
Oh, and by the way all of the needles that I got are brand new, sterile. They're 1/2 CC 30g.
Thanks.

I got it on my first try. It was easy. I think I did too little though because while I'm feeling it, I'm not feeling it as hard as when I snort so I might give myself another shot. I wanted to start low though as everyone suggested I do. I'll wait a little while and see what happens.
