Which would be worse - getting caught JACKING IN or JACKING OFF?

It's one of the worst nightmare scenarios since the invention of hand lotion - you're in your room, laying in bed, the "Swimsuit Issue" in one hand and your meat puppet in the other. The action is hot and heavy and just as you're about to "release the hounds," your mother walks in!

What follows next is perhaps the most awkward silence since Helen Keller was asked "do you want fries with that?"

Or is it?

Would it be even worse if your mom walked in just as you were pushing down the plunger and releasing the heroin hounds into your hungry arm?

So I put the question out to you, my fellow Blue lighters: which do YOU think would be worse: getting caught with a needle in your arm or a half-choked chicken in your hand?

Of course, if either one has happened to you (or to your "friend") please tell us how it turned out. No reason to be shy, we're all anonymous here, right?
 
Ok how about explaining WHY one would be worse? I suppose in all fairness getting caught while "vacationing in palm springs" is super embarrassing, its not something anyone would worry about.,, whereas getting caught with drugs is opening up a huge can of worms.

But still... It's easy to armchair rationalize which one makes more sense from the safety of this board, but is it really THAT easy to vote "yes" on a family member walking in on you??

Unless it's your hot sister, of course.

Getting caught with a needle would cause all hell to break loose. I've gotta caught beating it more than once, and it's awkward, but it's not like I have to worry about having "a talk" about it lol. But yeah, if I was shooting up, game over for me.
 
Getting caught masturbating is worse. My parents already know I used to use heroin. I doubt they would be shocked if they saw me shooting up. In fact, I would offer them a hit. ;)


For people answering "needle": has your father and/or mother walked in the room while you were masturbating, or even worse, in the middle of an orgasm? I doubt you have.
 
Getting caught shooting up would definitely be worst. My mother is kind of understanding, if she caught me jerking off it would just be embarrassing. Getting caught shooting up would be shameful.

Really? Why would it be shameful?

Are you ashamed of yourself because you IV? That's if you shoot up, if not then I can understand your assumption.
 
The needle as well, definitely.

Reasoning: Masturbation is normal, and healthy.

Shooting heroin, on the other hand, is not. It carries a multitude of risks, including addiction, overdose, and various and sundry injuries/infections/health problems. It would be extremely difficult for any parent to see their child being self-destructive in this manner. Even if one takes all of the proper precautions, the risks of addiction and associated with injecting in general are inherent.
 
CH, most parents already know that their kid masturbates*. They would prefer not to see it, sure, but it wouldn't be a life-changing revelation. Walking in on a needle would be for most.

*with notable exceptions. I knew a guy who lived with his parents and was deathly afraid to get caught because they had told him not to do it. He couldn't have a lock on his bedroom door, and if he spent too much time in the shower, they would knock on the door and tell him to hurry it up. The only time he could whack it was while they were asleep, and even then he would go sit in his car rather than risk them hearing him and coming in to yell. The kicker? This guy was 40 years old!
 
needle, its socially excepted and "normal" to get one of, where as shooting up is one of the most looked down upon things to do.
 
I've been in both situations and getting caught masturbating was much more embarrassing than getting caught shooting up. My mom knew that I was struggling with a heroin addiction at the time(I still am) so she really wasn't all that surprised she caught me with a needle in my arm. She just kinda had a funny look on her face and said, "I'll come back in 10 minutes," and walked out. When I got caught jerking it on the other hand, she shrieked and ran out of the room while I was scrambling to get myself covered up. The level of embarrassment also might have been because I was only 13 when I got caught waxing the carrot and I was 24 when I got caught shooting up(Which she already knew.)
 
I think it depends. If you get walked in on when you are in the process of cumming, then it is worse than being walked in on when shooting up. But if you are not busting a nut, then it's not as bad as getting caught shooting up.
 
Shooting up i guess. However i would still finish shooting up. Theres no way i could. Get a nut after mom saw that.
 
CH and blasphemy: For you guys whose parents already know about your drug use, then it is understandable that getting caught jacking off would be worse for you. But to those whose parents are oblivious to the fact their kids use, IVing would be far, far worse in terms of its consequential impact. Sure, being walked in on while your about to bust a nut is very embarrassing, but getting caught shooting up H can mean intervention, expulsion, or even your folks disowning you.
