yea my clinic won t have nothing to do wit benzos either course if you piss dirty for em they wont detox you or nothing but they will detox you for pissing dirty fur methamp or cocaine. i filled up a 20oz coke bottle of my piss one week when i didnt have any benzos in my system so that way i allways pass my ua's.and this friday i finally will start gettin my full weeks worth of takehomes
lol hard. I used to do the same thing. I was a a county clinic in San Jose after relapsing after having 3.5 years clean and was able to barely get in under the wire because it was a county clinic and the cost of each patient was $100.00 slidding scale, while they had 5 Mds on staff and all these uneeded ancillary personel. The clinic was open only between 0600-1100 (and you needed a waver to dose b/w 0600-0700. The cost per patient was $850, the rest picked up by the county. So insteady of reasigning the 1 doc to another part of the county hospital they closed the detox and maintenance spots. Anyway, they used to harrass the fuck out of me, I finally stoped chipping when, urged by my well intentioned counselor I got to 135 mg, and they took away a well functioning old timers 6 takehomes for comming up positive on the once a year THC test. They used to test the temp at that place. Once I came in smelling like booze and they breathilized me for 3 months- which slowed me down for getting to school. The bright side is they actually lowered my fee to $50.00
Anyway, moved to San Diego, were they didn't check for benzos, THC, or alcohol. Paid $300.00/ month. Finally got to step 6. They were going to give me 2 weeks but i came up dirty right before. But they were much less informal, the staff wasnt abusive. I relapsed on stuff after about a year- 3 years into MMT. I would do what you do- I would save up my piss in a bottle, put it in the fridge, and bring it with me to the clinic. After pissing, we brought our own samples and dropped them in a box- no natzi supervision. They started testing for benzos and I had an Rx- so they was cool. The best thing- they extended there hours into my second year there- (was 0530- 2:30 pm), changed from 5:30 am- 7:00Pm.
Guess what, judging by the clientel, they had more high functioning addicts their that had stabalized, had jobs, ect...of course there was the % that would chip.
Point is lower threshold seems to work better. When I relapsed, my dose had gotten down to 4 mg and I ran into an aqauitance- Last time I used in san Diego was 98'. I was shocked how much the price had come down and the quality had gone up. The dope was always more expensive in SD but way better than the Bay area were it was cheaper by weight but worse. By 2003, the dope i was getting in the bay area was better than San Diego in 98'. I had to go above 100 mg to block it. By late 2005 in San diego their was fire dope at rock bottom prices. I would use but never take my takehome dose on the same day, unless i had to work and would use after my long shift. I would save up the doses (increased back to 40 mg) and would tripple up when I was out of urine my first day, and double up my second- still feel week and achy. By day 5 I would produce more clean urine.
Finally I was sick of it all, my daughter was born, and without making this even lengthier, i got popped dirty, they was going to take away all take homes (because they found codeine, a contiminate in tar, and morphine, they considered it as 2 uses)- I got a new counselor. But he was starting a mens group and wanted leverage to get people in it so i went and got to keep my takehomes. Stayed clean for 2 weeks and went back to my old connection but he was gone by God's grace- was drinking like a fish though. Tappered off juice about 6 months latter and alcohol and all other drugs may after that.
But anyway after a year without anything but wellbutrin I was severly depressed and anxious- got on sub which I'm finally tapering after 1.5 years (now down to 0.3-0.2 mg of the new film.) Gotta deal with the benzos next- but before doing this I had made an unsuccesful attempt to get dope. Alot of this should be in the darkside thread and I went on way to long as usual but you reminded me of those days. Benzos, especially when you get accostomed to them plus mmt are not as hazardous used together as they think. The benzos are better than drinking on top of the methadone, thats for fuckin damns sure.
