maybe use the not very cheapest kitchen roll and 3 layers with the top of a 2l bottle as a funnel but I generally manage crystal clear every time this way
 
Oy vey! Seems the kitchen roll brigade are out in force. I've always been worried about the fact that it's designed to absorb liquids, so you might lose more codeine than you would with coffee filters. I find a double (or triple, if you're ultra-cautious) stack of coffee filters works just fine. Each to their own though.

Just don't go and buy Melitta Natural like I used to, because those perforations are big enough to let a whole lot of paracetamol get through.

I had 10mg of diaz and 30mg of morphine, just to test the waters really. I was no where near the point of nodding, just felt very nice so I will up the dose a bit next time I think.
 
Will bow to the heinous peer-pressure and cop for some kitchen roll (possibly even coffee filters if really flush 8o). Thanks, fellas :)

Also, ramp it up please, Danny. Such ubercautiously low-tolerance dosing is just plain painful for some of us to read ;)

Cocodamol is Paracetomol & Codeine, so yes you can definitely overdose on the other stuff in them. Paracetomol overdose is an extremely long and painful way to die so please read everything you can find on the maximum daily dosage, CWE techniques and basically... everything, before you take more than the prescribed amount of cocodamol. Dunno about you, but I like to know everything about whatever I put into my body so that worst does not come to worst.

FWIW, one of my younger brothers once tried to commit suicide on paracetamol alone. Same amount as you'd get in a pack of Boots own brand (or equivalent) co-cos. Didn't die but was still a few uncomfortable days in hospital. Paracetamol overdose has almost no symptoms usually so tends to drop folk totally outta the blue who never though they were risking it necking co-cos and the like without CWE... The luckier ones get crippling pain before the liver failure kicks in too hard. CWE are a Good Thing for these reasons :)
 
hi find the tag interesting, i get 30/500 co-co's weekly qty 42 on the nhs so a really freebe 4 me:)
have done cwe with 10 x 30/500 using coffee filters and came good:D
had fantasic time and happy to do again =D=D

Just out of interest how many tabs do you do at a time and how long does it take?

I use normal coffee filters but it can take fucking ages (hours)! wondered if your method might be quicker.
 
Hours? Shouldn't be taking that long.

I'd avoid dumping all the paracetamol sludge on the filter at once, as that always slows things down considerably.
 
Would anyone be able to give a rough estimate as to how many dunts you could get from 0.5kg

so the other day i got some paramol rather than the usual generic co-codamol, and the product of the CWE is milky rather than the clear i find reassuring. anyone else experience this? or get a less clear solution when using dihy (or paramol specifically? it doesnt say what other random ingredients it has, so i assume its just paracetamol and dihy)
 
^ yes, with paramol i always use minimal water; like 60 ml for 32 tabs & cool it down to about 10 c before filtration. I totally agree there is something about paramol that seems to make it harder to extract, i just leave mine alone for a couple hours after i dump it into the filter whereas cocodamol takes about 30 mins.

Anbody alse find some brands of coco seem to be made with the intent of preventing a CWE? Once i bought a pack that smelt like paint when mixed with water & when it went in the filter that's all it did. I got about 10 ml back out of about 80 - chucked that rotten shit down the sink.
 
so does that mean that the CWE is failing? the water seems imbued with a white tinge, and doesnt have any sediment. i just filtered it all again, and it came out milky still, i assume that its worked and is drinkable...
 
If the milky solution following a Paramol CWE means its failing, I'd be in big trouble. I've done hundreds of Paramol extractions and not had a problem, despite the end result being milky every time.

I'd wager the milkiness is something to do with the binder and not the paracetamol. As long as there is a sizable amount of 'gunk' left in the filter you'll be fine
 
paramol seems to have a white coloured binder that is plenty soluble in water, never seen a clear extraction with it like is possible with generic co-cos
 
Anybody else think Dihydrocodeine has a coke-like buzz to it? Personally i dont, but when i've been on it people have told me i looked like i'd 'been into the charlie'.

First time i took dhc @ 180 mg i walked to the shop for a beer feeling high as a kite & said hello to somebody i knew who was outside the shop, then as soon as i walked in i heard him say to the guy next to him "he's bang on it mate"! Which could only mean cocaine coming from this person.

Also saw a quote from William Burroughs: "Trust the nazi to invent something twice as strong as codeine, almost as good as heroin and with a wired coke like edge to boot".
 
I wouldn't call it "coke-like" personally but can kinda see what's meant by it. It's the swaggering (over)confidence of opiates masquerading as being "coke-like". DHC is probably about as low on the opiate scale as you can go to have a hope of finding it. Gets pretty outrageous if you stray up into the upper opiachelons - coke-like and then some cos it's an ongoing kinda thang at that point so no comedown regrets...

That would be "Yes and no" then ;)
 
I find DHC quite stimulating, makes me very chatty and I get a lot of stuff done when I am on it.
