So, is this going to be an informational film or a propaganda piece? So far Marijuana and Cocaine seem to be quite informational/reasonable.

FYI if you don't know Monday on NatGeo.

Is this the english bbc programme that comes in three parts? if so, we have seen it already here last week.

thats on right now,
i find that all of the documentaries ive seen on drugs that have been on TV are just the same old propaganda, with some things littered in there that have some actual value but theyre all still bias.
not necessarily by choice. they have to be careful with what they put out there because if they say the wrong thing it could be misconstrued as advocating the use of drugs...

no disrespect delta9 at all, because you clearly no your way around this site very well, and i can see you are being very helpful to people, adding links etc.

but do you think maybe you are somewhat coming across as a little bit robotic, if that makes sense? this site clearly is by humans, for humans, and for myself included it takes time to learn to navigate your way around the vast amount of information thats on this site. i for one find it a little daunting. i can see nothing wrong in a little bit of human interaction, otherwise this sites going to come across as cold to everybody.

delta9 is actually a highly programmable forum bot, that can pick out key words in various threads, and add relevant information.

The E portion? I don't get to see it until tomorrow... your opinion? Informational? Disinformation?

oh, haha
i was reading too fast,
nah the mdma one isnt on but theyre doin a marathon of it right now.
my guess is that it will follow the trend unfortunately... :\
though, thats not to say that it wont offer at least some accurate info.

lol, sorry. i can see hes very helpful indeed, maybe just somewhat lacking in human emotion :)

Ah, gotcha. Well I saw the preview for the XTC portion and part of the preview mentioned Dopamine the mechanism of action of E. (we all know serotonin is responsible for the PLURRRRR) SO we'll see how factual it turns out to be eh?

well, if its the same series that were seeing here in the uk, its also been made for the nat geo channels to. it comes in three parts. marijuana, ecstacy and cocaine, and each episode is an hour long, and its about the science of drugs and how they affect your body. if its the same thing, then i actually enjoyed the ecstacy one we saw last week.

were the people english in the programme?

ok, they have clearly changed the name of the programme for the nat geo channel then. i was going to be on this programme. they was asking for subjects over on pillreports.com and i was in conversation with the producers for a little while, as they seemed very keen for me to do it, but i changed my mind in the end.

i was pleasently suprised, it was not a bad programme at all really. i shant spoil it for you anymore than that, youll have to watch and see for yourself :)

I'd first like to say I apologize if my posting style here makes anyone feel at all uncomfortable. This is the last thing I want.

Second, I fully understand it takes time to learn the 'goings-on' and the 'hot spots' here at Bluelight. After all, I was a Greenlighter too. However it was members like myself who helped me in that process. I truly thought(and still think) I was doing my part by returning the favor. If this was a mistake I made I'm sorry, just please be aware that if it isn't me telling you, it will probably be a staff member. Maybe that's how people prefer it? I don't know, but at this point, with all the trouble I apparently seem to cause while simply trying to keep this great site in order, I'll log off for tonight(perhaps a few days)

Today just seems not to be my day. I've received several PMs from regular members berating me for trying to point them in the right direction or notifying them of any rule infraction, while at the same time receiving PMs from staff members thanking me for doing just that. It honestly is very frustrating and at this point I'm feeling quite depressed.

The moderators and administrators actively ask for help with their forums, so why is it that when I do so people make me feel as though I'm doing something wrong?

Again, I apologize if anything I've said or done has offended anyone. It was and still is my only intention to see this site prosper and to provide accurate data regarding it's contents.

hey, im sorry delta, i didnt mean to cause offence. as i have said, you are very helpful from what i can see. i am just a normal member of the public like yourself, i just felt maybe when ive read some of your posts tonight, you possibly may be coming across as slightly harsh. i dont no, its the way i would of taken it, especially if i was very new. but then, maybe im just a little sensitive, i dont no, and im sure your being very helpful, i can see that definitley.

all i no is, if this site was nothing more than pages of facts, then it wouldnt feel like a community anymore, and possibly i would of swicthed off after first joining.

im not sure, i guess we are all different bud.

i no its annoying when the same questions keep coming up as i read you put earlier, but i personally feel that means this website is doing its job properly. new people are joining all the time and the same questions annoy all us regulars who have to see them everyday, but then bl as site is working then and doing what its supposed to.

maybe if the newbies are greeted with a bit of a welcome rather than having the book thrown at them, theyll stay around, and learn much more

Against my better judgment I logged on again tonight.

You did not.

Yes the same questions get posted many times over, especially here in ED(just ask any ED mod), however we have threads like this for a reason, and forums regularly go through 'pruning' because people don't use threads like this. Bluelight only has so much space, and it is not intended for repeat threads. It has been stated many times that using the search engine is priority 1 when you have a question.

Many, many of my posts for newcomers look like this -

It is usually the people who already know the rules who get what you call the "colder" treatment. The absolute 1st thing that should be done when registering in a forum is reading the rules. If these people do not do this then why I am at fault for pointing it out?

Also, I simply do not have time to post 3 or 4 links to the rules(which should already have been known) in every thread I come across.

Even if I post a simple "This has been covered, please search next time", or "Post Reported", it is not disrespectful, despite what people believe.
It is me trying to do what I can to help the staff which as far as I'm aware is appreciated. If it is not, and a staff member reads this, then PM and will never use the 'report' button again.

In fact, if the consensus here truly is that I'm not wanted/trouble/whatever you wanna call it. I will never enter ED again.

One persons view is certainly never the consensus !

If your posts were deemed to be unfair or overly rude then you would have received a message from the mods before now :).

I dont think that linking a thread to further information is a problem but maybe if you wanted to build a 'relationship' with other users you could maybe add a few words.

A quick, 'this topic is covered here' or 'you may find this link helpful' etc at the end of the day your posting style and way you interact with people is entirely your choice :)
