Yeah I just need to do some more reading, finding the time for me is the problem. How long can I expect to get away with abusing the Diaz before I run into trouble ?
Everyone is different with some people been able to take it for longer than others before running into problems. For me, it was short. I was using between 40-60mg a day, everyday for a bit under a month. With a taper I still had some quite disturbing withdrawal symptoms. Bad nausea (most prominent), headache, aches and pains, panic and anxiety, shaking, sweating, insomnia, upset stomach, mild depersonalisation, sexual dysfucntion to name a few of the symptoms. They were intense enough to be distressing and quite uncomfortable, and to stop me exercising. However, not intense enough to stop me going to uni or to stop me socialising.
As to your later question about using them every second day. I don't think it is a good idea. 1) whether or not you can actually keep that schedule and not do it each day. 2) that it is a high amount (thearupetically speaking), so your tolerance will grow quickly (you will need higher and higher dosages after a while to be relaxed). 3) I imagine you would still get an addiction and withdrawal symptoms even with skipping days. valium for instance will still be in your body with a day off, meaning your body will become used to it always being present, causing tolerance and addiction.
I also have depression and anxiety, and I know that benzos can make all the pain go away. However, once you get addicted (and it happens quickly) you enter a whole new type of hell. You will still have the symptoms of the mental illness, plus an addiction to feed. The depression and anxiety will also likely worsen. You've heard it all before, but the best thing you can do about anxiety and depression is to do cognitive behavioural therapy and focus on dealing with the causes of the problem.
benzo withdrawal is hellish, so if you can quit whilst you are ahead you are doing yourself a huge favour.
