Purdue does have truly a really great section within their website on OxyContin brand oxycodone. Info on switching from another opiate; Increased potency/toxicity via concomitant use of CYP3A4 isoenzyme Inhibitors- plus Increased Effect from protease inhibitors (i.e. Ritonavir).

Moreover, in addition to sundry types of CNS hazards; equianalgesia (mg) tables indicating equivalency amounts with Morphine, levorphanol, Fentanyl, Hydromorphone, Codeine, Hydrocodone, etc., Also, time interval periods, section on withdrawal information,.. and generally interesting curioso is presented.

Purdue's Info is more robust and informative than Grandad's 1995 49th ed.'n of the PDR.

Long time OC taker first time taking OC "OP"

I just picked up the OC 80mg "OPs", and they are for sure not as good as the original. If you are a snorter like I am then you are pretty much SOL unless you want to spend countless hours scraping the pills across a hose clamp. The best way to take them, and what I have started doing, is to chew it up and let it get all gooey and mushy but don't swallow. Put the goop under our thong. Your saliva glands are very good at absorbing opiates, thats why you take Subutex and Suboxone that way. It wont hit you has hard or as fast as snorting but you feel it. Until somebody finds a way to completely pulverize the new formula, you are not going to get the same affect with them as the originals no matter what you try period. I heard you can smoke them, but it might crystallize your lungs so not recommend. I have given up on snorting and am just going to take them straight up or as described as above, and take what I can get. Better then doing H.

i was pissed cause ive had the malli morphines before and if you snort em they just stick in your nose like concrete and there is 0 high.

thats because morphine isn't made to be snorted, I think that has a lower BA than oral, which is already crazy low.

morphine is only good IV, I don't know why they really even make a pill form.

I agree with the writers who suggest chewing the new oxycontin OP formulated pills, especially with your front teeth, because the new gel like ingredients won't gum up so much on your front teeth, but tend to do so on your back ones. Try to chew as much as possible to reduce the pill to as many "bits" as you can, before washing everything down with a carbonated beverage of your choice.

This has proven to me to be the most effective means of bypassing the gel components designed to defeat immediate release of the synthetic thebaine, the opioid which not only erases the severest pain, but renders a peaceful state of mind for several hours.

One thing to be careful of however: Try not to chew TOO hard, which can cause excessive wear on your front teeth, possibly even a chipped tooth. Chew as gently as you can while still getting the job accomplished. Again, the MORE pieces you can chew the OP pill into, the better the intended effect for you. I am only speaking from very personal experience, and agreeing with the other writers who espouse this same method for opiate extraction from the new and diabolical OP formulation (Evil!), the above guide being the easiest, least cumbersome or time intensive; likewise - being highly, HIGHly effective.

You just suggested he IV a pill that gels up when wet. Not only does it gel, it gels worse than almost any other opiate pill that gels. You really think it's wise to IV that, or even snort it for that matter? And not only did you suggest he IV it, you suggest he IV 80mg, which in his case, would not be a good dose. It would be too much.

EDIT - Not to even mention, you suggesting IVing anything at all to someone who does not IV is irresponsible in and of itself. Seriously, dude, think about what you're saying to this guy. This site is about harm reduction. Is telling someone to IV a dangerous pill reducing harm in any way? Think before answering that.

If you want me to respect you in these forums, show something worth respecting. I'm seriously just going to start unapproving posts like this if you keep this up.

these pills shave down just as easy as the real oc 80s ... alls you need is a foot shaver that you can buy at cvs and stores like that ...they shave down beautiful with them but your nose feels like its filled with glue and wasnt that affective although i have a huge tolerance and was doing opanas the last week i bought 3 of these 80s for the price of one and sniffed all 3 i felt alright but i just cant say for sure how good it worked because of a massive opana binge

but is this cola thing really work ??..cause i can shave these down in 2 min to complete dust

hopefully we find out how to get off on these real good and people that sell there pills dont know and we can get them dirt cheap

1. Microwave hole pill for 60 seconds
- Note: This will remove moisture and make pill easier to grind.

2. Crush the entire pill, with the outer shell
- Note: Data seems to indicate that outer-shell may contain ingredients that aid in the absorption of the active ingredient, the good stuff.

3. Use 250ml or a shotglass filled 2/3rd of the way with coke-cola

4. Heat in microwave for about 30 seconds, it will heat quickly so watch it

5. Mix powered pill with heated coca-cola

6. Stir

7. Let sit for 90 minutes if you can, 5 minutes at-least..

8. Drink


Suggest while letting it sit to stir periodically and try to keep temp around 60C. Microwaving in short burst of 5-15 seconds should do the trick.

I always preferred snorting myself but as that obviously isn't an option here we had to look at other methods. So far what we've found to work best is to cut up the portion you want to do really fine, the pedi egg of hose clamp method would work too but i don't have either, then let it sit in some coke or lemon juice for a bit. Lemon juice has proved to be faster than the coke. Lemon juice seems to dissolve it within 5-10 minutes while the coke can take a couple hours. Then drink up! It comes close to the body high that snorting gave but it take a bit longer to kick in. Maybe 45-60 minutes to be at full strength.

These new ones aren't that bad now that we've found this new way to use them. We have found that being on an empty stomach tends to help how strong and how fast these can be.

I've had good luck with the following (similar/same) method:

Grind the pill into a fine powder with a dremel type tool. (You can get a cheapo that works great for $5.00-10.00 @ Harbor Freight or Walmart.)

Using a medium sized bowl (I used a Pyrex container.) and hold the pill with a nice set of needle nose pliers. Hold the pill with the pliers close to the inside bottom edge of the bowl and hit the pill with the dremel until you have a fine powder. (Takes about 1-2 minutes) - any powder from the grinding process (VERY LITTLE anyways) will stick to the side of the pyrex container. Just wipe that with your finger and suck it off of your finger. It will be the consistency of baby powder.

Take the powder and put it in a shot glass. Add some coca-cola and lemon (or lime) juice and let it sit. (I stir it with a toothpick every few minutes/hours, depending on how long I am letting the solution sit.)

The longer you let it sit, the better it will be. You will end up with a thick, syrupy liquid after 12-20 hrs. The longer the better. I've never let it sit for more than 20 hrs.

I've also had good luck simply crushing the pill with pliers into a shot glass, adding coke and lemon juice and stirring every five minutes or so for about 1/2 hr to an hour. Then down the hatch, followed by the rest of the coke.

That's been my experience.. so far. I'd imagine adding some heat to the process will certainly release more of the Oxy from the powder.

IMO if you're addicted to snorting your best bet is to get some heroin or a different pharmy you can snort. The crisping method works, but is a PIA and I'm not too keen on snorting melted plastic particles, etc. Until we find out what the magic solvent is and a good evaporation technique I wouldn't snort it. Too many unknowns right now.

On the bright side, OP's are CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP around here!

well, i used to be a daily user, and could easily bump 7-8 oc80's in a day. Now i have had a lot of time clean, and pretty much keep my tolerance at about the 15-20mg range. I just took an op 40 that i chewed up, in theory, i would normally be puking and all around just not having the time of my life. It feels like i took about 10mg, so i don't know how well these things work, little pissed i blew 100 bucks and im stuck with 8 of these. However, i will try the lemon juice and hope for the best. I definitely feel something tho, so i do not think it is placebo. I was really hoping to be able to rail a few of these >.<. Now i should know never to just feel and not look at the product before i drive off. But i generally hate waiting in bad neighborhoods and i thought all was cool this time. YOU MUST BE EVER VIGELANT apparently, cause when i turned the light in the car on, i saw op...and i heard about these new things coming out, but around here it was supposedly just rumor, well hell. I got butt dickensoned.

for a rush and "high" crush and swallow/snort/IV around 20-80 mg in your case however id start low maybe a 20 mg bump and then another 20 in a half hour if your not rockin just work your way up
for some reason i can eat oxys all day and feel jsut fine but after I eat a good handful (10-20 norcos) im straight SHIT faced but I can eat a script of 80s in a day or 2 and be dissapointed. I hate how it wears off at least 2-3 times as quick as hydro. actualy, with little tolerance or a HUGe dose I can feel hydrocodone for 24 SOMETIMES. I mean I can alwasy feel some effects for that long but if im sick its every 4 horus or im sick as fuck but if i have a low tolerance and take like 160 mg of hydro I wont need to redose till later that night

Has anyone thought to try boiling the new OP OC's gel pills down in water and baking soda. (sorta like how they make crack)? I have no idea if this would work but I imagine everyone else has already tried dissolving these in alcohol and most other safe solvents.

Just an idea but we would need a chemist to know whether on not this would actually work. Then possibly the resulting residue might be able to be crushed and snorted and or smoked?

Just a thought, hopefully someone here with more chemistry knowledge might be able to enlighten us on whether this technique could work

I figured out how to make the NEW OC's/(OP's) snortable!
Please don't get mad at me if it doesn't work for ya'...
Its easy as pie..

Here Is The Best And Most Effective Way To Snort The NEW OP's:

Step 1: Microwave whole pill for 5 mins

Step 2: put in freezer for 1 min 30 sec

Step 3: Grind pill into FINE powder with tool such as dremel or file

Step 4: Put onto a microwave-safe plate**

Step 5: Microwave for 4min 30 sec (times may vary for each microwave)

Step 6: As SOON as you start to see the pill turn into a light brown gunk pull it out
-- if there is some powder left its ok

Step 7: Put into your freezer for about 5 to 10 minutes- let it get really cold

Step 8: Scrape the crusted brown oxy onto a mirror or w/e and snort
Worked GREAT for me, no gelling. Put a little in your mouth to test it

NOW, you might notice in the end, it looks like LESS powder, BUT, I assure you, you DONT lose much, the reason it looks like less, is because the binders and gel stuff burn away. Just taste the end result, it tastes REALLY strong depending on what mg you use.

** its important to use microwave safe, I broke a few plates in half over-microwaving them

I got the coca-cola method down pretty good.
I do it a little different than mentioned on the last page.

1) Heat the pill in the microwave for 90sec.
2) Slice it into small chunks with a razor.
3) Pour about 120-150ml of coca-cola in a coffee mug.
4) Heat until it reaches 70*C (You'll have to check it with a cooking thermometer periodically)
5) Once temperature is reached, put the pill slices into the heated coca-cola.
6) Let it sit for 10 minutes. Then re-check the temp. Should be around 50*C.
7) Heat it back up to 70*C, and then wait 10-15 minutes and repeat the process 7-8 times for a total of at least 90 minutes.

The goal is to get it to average out at 60*C for at least 90min. I found that it tends to cool 15-20* every 10-15 minutes. Microwave strength and room temperature are all factors. So the most accurate method is to measure and calculate the intervals.
All in all, you can heat for 30 seconds every 12 minutes and it will maintain a consistent temp.
8 ) Drink everything including all the little globs. You may have to scrape them off the side of the mug. The pill will yield its full effect within 30min.

Another way would be to just put the solution in the oven for 90min if it will go down to that low of a temp.
