new Anti terrorism law allows police to Enter house without a warrant.

Hey well look at it this way.
Bag searches are being abused so much now ansd were originally for any police to look for bombs and terror crap.

And CCTV's were tripled or more to look for terrorist activity, but they now use the control rooms to look for any suspicious activity (mostly drugs) on NYE and other events.

WOW!

DOODODODODODODODODOD

fucking listen!

I did, and then all the lyrics started sounding nearly exactly like that same message and I got bored with it.

And what do you suppose we do?

Sorry to quote myself, but I had a thought.
Most of us regular bluelighters spend at least some time nearly every night, and we're always on top of what is going in on the media, and we discuss as we should being a drug discussion forum.

Sadly our efforts of speaking up on this forum mostly go from one casual drug user to another instead of getting to where we want our voices to be heard.

So how do we do that?

This is what I've been thinking over whilst I've been at work these last few days, we need our voices to be heard, not in some angry protest. But consistently and with evidence. When I started reading this forum whilst I was a user I was very against the legalisation of most drugs, and was pretty much convinced that my views would not change. These days I find myself not only as a drug user, but a drug enthusiest, always looking for a way to encourage people to broaden their harizons and expand their mind.

So what changed my views?
It is simply bluelighters, kind words and strong minds, we are elite's in drug knowledge and a force to be wreckoned with. So what I've been thinking is we have to find other threads, beyond bluelight and into mainstream political threads. Places where we will be slammed for our views, but with time and persistence maybe we could get somewhere.

I'm very tired, but this doesn't seem impractical, we spend so much time speaking with people who agree with us, what we need to do is convert anti-drug politicians into people who see the world the way we see it. Where we control what we do with our own bodies, a world where knowledge comes first, and controlling people comes last.

If anyone thinks this is a good idea I'd love for people to keep discussing it and then we can work out which forums would be ideal and what our next steps could be.

PLUR.

Basically, we need to stop preaching to the converted and start converting others ;)

There is a reason that one day I will end up in politics.

Sounds like the perfect plan of action. Where do we start? Put me on board. I will do as much as possible to help the SA front.

Nah brotha.. you will never end up in politics.

Unless of course your a scum bag, back stabbing, lying peice of shiiite!

but i wouldnt make that assumption about you! :- )

Haha!

Not all politicians are bad, just most of 'em. I've been involved in youth politics for a few years, and it's my end goal. Thing is, I'll likely be an independent, or resurrecting the Democrats, as both of the current major parties are useless twats.

;)

Wow... TripppAR quoting the lyrics of a 'Muse' song. You've shown us all such a great insight... are you the second coming of Jesus?

If social stuff is really being let loose now... well, Ima change my posting style... ;) then again maybe not...

Here's some lyrics...

"Fuck the police"...

It's all about the secular party baby ;)

This is the Political forum I'm looking at signing up first. http://www.politicalforum.com/australia/
People on both sides of the argument and people are posting daily and you can start your own thread whenever you want.
Seems like the ideal place for us bluelighters to sign up.

I'm not signing up yet, gonna keep reading it for a few more days to see if I think it's the perfect place to start.

I'd love as much support from bluelighters as possible, and remember this is not a quick fix scheme. This is for us to fight the good fight and get our message to people who don't approve of how we spend our spare time.

I dunno, I don't think rally's get very far.
Only if they are completely out of control like the uni students Fee's being tripled in the U.K.
And even that I don't think worked out for them.

For a rally to get anywhere it needs to have 1000's of people. Otherwise they'll get no media coverage and very little will be heard about it.

I can see you point if you are being harassed on the street or in your home when you have nothing to hide, but people here are complaining they are getting caught with drugs because "they didn't have a right to search me". Possessing drugs is still illegal and until such time it is legal you have to be smarter. DON"T GIVE THEM A REASON. That may mean not carrying in public or perhaps hiding your shit a little better, hell you could even blend in and not look like a drug taker.

It is a war, become battle hardened or expect to be picked off.
