So....since football is essentially over for me (again)...Let's look at Basketball!!!
Why? Because my team is actually ranked! And, it's just one more chance to talk shit with the SuckEye fans since we play them in 2 hrs!
Rankings as of now:
tOSU plays at FLA tonight at 6PM EST. Here's a quick write up on it (ESPN):
The line on the game is FLA (-3). We've got a lot of enthusiastic youth, but I see tOSU with a lineup of Sr-Sr-Jr-Sr-FR....aside from the freshman, that's a lot of experience, and I suspect the #4 ranking is well deserved. Should be a good game. Go Gators!!

6 p.m. ET: No. 5 Ohio State at No. 10 Florida (ESPN/ESPN3) -- With the possible exception of Virginia Tech-Kansas State, this, my friends, is the game of your marathon. Florida, the media's preseason pick to win the SEC, is back in the national conversation after Billy Donovan's three-year rebuild thanks to the return of all five starters from last season's NCAA tournament team and the arrival of top-15 recruit Patric Young. Ohio State returns every non-Evan Turner starter from last season's 2-seed and welcomes the No. 2 class in the country to Columbus. That class includes forward Jared Sullinger, who, if he lives up to his considerable hype, could lead a deeper and more balanced Buckeyes team even further in the tournament than last season's somewhat disappointing Sweet 16 finish. How Sullinger and fellow freshmen Deshaun Thomas (the No. 3-ranked small forward in the incoming class) and Aaron Craft (who's been drawing big praise for his capable point guard play thus far) augment the Bucks' talented returners will be the key to Ohio State's season. We'll get a taste of that dynamic Tuesday night, but more than anything, this is just a great early-season nonconference game, almost as good as they get. I can't wait.
