2012, maybe - we have some pretty serious plans next year, and Rainbow, unfortunately, has slid right down the ladder of priorities in our lives It's really bummed us, but house/potential travel and other stuff has taken precedence.

In short yes it does. Rainbow serpent embraces the aboriginal culture and often the opening and closing ceremonies incorporates aboriginal dancing and performance. it's quite awesome.

The opening and closing ceremonies are my favourite parts of this festival - i spend the entire time covered in goosebumps - the feeling generated by the group is amazing. Even writing this gave me the warm-fuzzies
