I know Mirtazapine isn't a very commonly abused substance, and I can't see it becoming one. It's a tetracyclic antidepressant, albeit with somewhat specific receptor activity, and with moderate sedative effect. I orally consumed one Apotex brand 15mg tablet, in order to get a specific idea of the effects it produced in myself.
This made me curious of it's intranasal properties, prompting a miniscule(2 or 3mg +binder/filler) test line, (after searching for pill ingredients, of course). The powder went down absolutely painlessly, though no additional effects came on of worthy note.
After this test run, which showed that it indeed could bring me closer to a drowsy-dreamish yet cognitive state, I attempted intranasal dosing of 7.5~mg one week later, with nearly identical effects. The main difference, and this is forseeable, is that sedation pronounced itself much stronger, and had a discernable anaxiolytic effect on my mood, which was already calm.
My actual question is: "Have any of you other BL'ers nasally ingested Mirtazapine?" If so, how were the effects? At what dose? Did you like your experience? So... in conclusion. Need help forming more opinions on this one.
Also, below is the link to the closest page I could find on inactiveingredients for this.
