I live in South Florida (Miami-Fort Lauderdale area) so it would be easier to list the drugs that we AREN'T known for.
However, with the pill mills on every corner, I would have to say oxycodone. Weed and Coke are a given. You can get it anywhere and this is the first stop before it goes anywhere else in the US so it's the best stuff.
Anyway, as of last count, there were nearly 700 pain management clinics handing out hundreds of 30mg oxycodone pills every 28 days.
The most fucked up thing? These same pain management clinics will also help you detox OFF of the oxycodone using Suboxone.
So, it's like this.
Walk into pain manage clinic at 9:00 a.m.
Ow, my back/neck/head/eyelashes hurt.
Oh, so sorry, here's a script for an MRI - go to MRI R Us down the road.
Go to MRI R Us down the road and get scanned.
Go back to doctor with brand new MRI of eyelashes.
Doctor says, "Woah - that's bad! You need 1,458 Roxicets to take care of that!
Lemme write you a script. You can go across the hall way there and fill it.
Go across the hall and hand dude at the bullet proof window your script.
Walk out at noon with enough drugs to put down a zoo of Rhinos.
Of course, you have to have like, a million dollars and donate a kidney, but meh, you're getting your drugs, right? You can sell half to pay for the visit.
THAT, my friends, is the legal drug trade in South Florida.
I am sooooo fucking glad I'm not on those fucking Roxi's anymore. I don't even want to THINK about the amount of shoes and purses I could have bought with the money I spent in "pain management".
Now I take Suboxone and smoke some really super fine weed and snort some super mega awesome smooooooth cocaine.
I has a happy!
