^ yeah i was considering of q21q21's teks- probably the naptha one- i think id prefer white crystals over the jimjam (or full spectrum)- at least for my first time.
 
got my jar in the freezer, noticed its very cloudy and theres some stuff in the bottom. its been in there 5 hours so far. wooohooo!
 
shit, didnt get much out. theres some stuff in the bottom of the jar but not very much
 
not much, it was taking ages. got around 150mg in a jar, its abit off color and cloudy. got some bits of DMT in the bottom of the jar after putting it in the freezer, but it not very much. fuck sake
 
If I get some high quality MHRB inner root bark, how much can I reasonably expect as a yield for a first time extraction? I'm talking a kilo here...
 
Dmt extraction - I need help please

I am in the middle of an acid base extraction with 30 anadanathera colubrina seeds. So far I have powdered the seed insides, strained solids, dissolved in 20ml of water that had been brought to somewhere around ph 5 with 2.5ml of 5% vinegar (I'm hoping I did my math right, I have no idea. Couldn't find any litmus strips. Next I added a good quantity of naphtha and have seperated it into several 10ml needless syringes for separating (this step is to remove unwanted oils). Now that I have let them separate into layers, but there are three dusting layers rather than the two I was expecting.

The top layer is naptha, the bottom is yellow and should still contain all of the alkaloids. The middle layer is a layer is a white foam... What is that and do I want to keep it or get rid of it?

Turned out to be more naptha, for anyone who finds this is a future search. I'm basing this soley on taking it out and smelling it, it was very obviously naptha.
 
The foam layer is called an emulsion.

If you leave the vessel absolutely still for a day or two (maybe less, but be patient), the emulsion will settle out and disappear back into solution.

I did this twice, the first one was amazing too, but the second experience is HOLY.
since I encountered DMT I wondered if a true ++++ is possible within 5min(breakthroughs are not necessarily ++++ ime). it is.

this was my second ++++ and I am ... happy.

If a kilo is DONE CORRECTLY, it could yield 10 grams of clean DMT. Refer to my reply here on proper extraction techniques (only doing 28g powdered MHRB/jar, doing at least 4 pulls per jar, etc. just read it, for a kilo you will need to do 36 separate mason jars with 28g in each)
 
Sorry if this is a common question, don't have time to search myself.

My friends first attempt at an STB extraction on mimosa hostilis didn't go exactly as planned. Some of the jars turned out great, but some of them yielded a small amount of crystals and a layer of tanish-brown gooey stuff at the bottom. Since I can only assume this is just excess plant material, would it be safe to coat some ganja in this goo and smoke it?

Also, what did I do wrong and how can I avoid it next time?
