try sedating anti-histamines first... (alimenazine, doxylamine....) then if that doesn't work go to a doc and get some Zolpidem or zopiclone (i prefer zolpidem)... if they don't work, you'll need to convince your doc that you really need a hypnotic benzo (Loprazolam, Temazzepam, Lormetazepm....) but this should be the last rcourse
like I said, anticholinergic (i.e. sedating anti-histamine) is pretty good for sleep but side effects are worse than you'd expect, to me benadryl (for instance) feels like a poison that happens to put me to sleep, and at 12+ pills (or as low as 8 ) I sometimes get hallucinations of my own dying body, i.e. blood flowing out ur nails, body hair turning to spider legs, layers of skin peeling or blood-staining a fabric just by touching it, basically if you take a lot and you have periods of lucidity, you'll notice its basically like being in a horror movie and nightmare that you're too sedated to care about or even realize. says something about lower doses, as opposed to benzos which reduce those kinds of visuals rather than increase.
Z-drugs (ive tried and abused zopiclone) to me are like a combination of antichilergenics and benzos, sedation of benzos, dementia of benadryl, and visuals like a softened benadryl trip.
Has zolpidem not worked for someone here? To me, a high dose with a low enough tolerance will ensure passing out. z-drugs for getting to sleep, benzos for being asleep the whole night. Benadryl doesnt knock me out the same way at high doses, it feels like my nightmares and other dreams are merging with reality, and if I do pass out, its much less peaceful and clean than benzos.
I've seen two of your posts and I like them so far. im sure its the same the other way around buddy.
