NEWS : 11.10.09 - Premier Colin Barnett to introduce tougher marijuana legislation

I absolute despise Colin Barnett, what a massive step backwards. Idiot.

Also Colin, you dumbfuck... banning smoking implements does not stop people from continuing to smoke marijuana or even deciding to take it up. Now they'll just have to make something homemade that will be potentially toxic if things like plastic, hose, foil and aluminium are used.

This just adds fuel to fire for more and more resentment towards law enforcement and the government. And yet they wonder why. Give us our personal FREEDOM, for fucks sake!

The new police powers

Im not sure if this deserves its own thread , but with the new powers police have thx to colin barnet do you think something will be put into place now at music festivals deeming them a trouble spot letting the police check everyone and anyone walking thru the gates ? instead of having just 2 dogs wich u can avoid quite easily.
 
I think Music Festival's have and always will be a hot spot for police. People over dosing and the media blowing thing's out of proportion doesn't help either. As for the amount of Police/Dog's, yes i think there going to increase. It's probably not possible to search everyone in time before the festival start's but that's what the dog's are for...There much more faster and efficient.

Research the LIMA DECLARATION signed by our gov in the late 60's early 70's.
Research all the new terror laws and COMPLETE DESTRUCTION of liberty after 911 and the Bali Bombings.

This country is FUCKED on paper. And so are its people.. they are waiting for the right time and they can essentially bring in martial law and have curfews and EVERYTHING!

This is not good. Just look at fucking apec summit 3 years ago. Police bashing citezens ON FUCKING TELEVISON! Police bashing cameramen! HUGE HUGE HUGE amounts of cops that are being trained to think the public is the enemy.

I was accosted for taking a photo on a train platform the other day of about 20 HEAVILY ARMED HEAVILY VESTED cops!

Its called in-cre-mental-isation

We are the frog in the boiling pot. The frog doesnt jump out if you cook it slowly..if you throw it into the boiling water he jumps out.

This has been happening since the 70's. Now watch them try to hype race relations with muslims etc over the coming months AND try to promote total gun bans...

They are now coming for the hand guns. And history has shown that when the dictators take the citezens guns away (think nazi german, china with mao, stalin etc etc) all took the guns away with gun bans.. then ... MASSACRED THE PEOPLE!

We are not immune from this and this cannabis bullshit is just a teency step towards total tyranny..

But as i said.. we are screwed on paper with all are "terror laws" ! Oh no.. the man in a turban with the box cutter is going to get me.

Then you get these fucking idiots that walk around buffed up to the max crapping on about aussie pride with their little tattoos. BULLSHIT MATE! If you were a real aussie you'd stand up and fight for this country instead of getting smashed on the piss every weekend and assaulting each other.

Until the idiot brigade begins to think for itself (or at all), nothing will change. It is a sad reality, but I fear things will only get worse.
 
Well then if you all feel so strongly about this then do something about it. Start your reveloution or go out and protest or something. Your not exactly doing helping anymore then they are.
 
I received a $416 fine, a possession conviction on my record (shows up on police clearances etc) and by law it can't become a 'spent conviction' until 2018.

I was 19 years old and had 2 grams of weed on me. Colin Barnett needs to retire. *Inserts extremely insulting, offensive remarks regarding Colin Barnett here*

That sucks big time.

I am in the A.C.T. and got busted smoking when I was 15 with some mates. I had half a gram on me and got a $100 Simple Cannabis Offence Notice with no conviction recorded.
