Well I had my endoscopy today, and was told I have celiac-like damage to my upper bowel and need to start on a gluten-free diet immediately. Kinda ying/yang, it sucks not to be able to eat alot of foods but I DO feel much better avoiding them. I'll be following up with the same Doc who did the procedure and probably seeing a dietitian in order to get my eating habits back in order. Once I do though I'll be able to be twice the psychonaut I was with a compromised digestive system! High doses of 2C-E and oral DMT here I come, haha ;)

I also enjoyed the shot of IV midazolam, all I felt was that cold feeling up the arm and than *boom* I'd already been wheeled back into the recovery area. Gotta love short acting benzos for blacking out the worst of an uncomfortable procedure! The nurse commented on how alert I was minutes after it had worn off, like most here I do have an undue amount of *ahem* experience fighting the amnesiac effect of benzos. Not that I've been prescribed any but more than a few mg of Ativan have gone missing on my watch. I'm glad it went so smoothly, probably one of the least invasive medical procedures I've had, when it seemed like it would be the most.

Looking forward to getting on with my life, living healthier, and hopefully getting my body and mind more in tune and thus becoming a more effective person in the process. Progress++
 
Yeah, wouldn't do over 50 mg or so rectally at a time with aMT. It's still mixing monoamine releasers. I've done it. It's fun but raised my temp hardcore. Be near a fan and AC.

Um, AMT is in fact an MAOI; maybe not a super strong one; but I wouldn't go mixing strong monoamine releasers with it.

When I was using AMT I found if I ate cheese within a day of use the trip wasn't nearly as good; lots of body load and general crappy feeling.

Thanks man, that song is pretty damn awesome. It embodies alot of the things I've grown to enjoy, like dark-tinged anthemic hip-hop, fat dusty beats mixed with guitar lines... Not to mention the whole video is a Big Lebowski-esque slice of ghetto shermedelia :D I'll check out Big Boi's new album, there's alot of depth to this sort of music that gets lost in translation. I remember Andre 3000 saying that Squarepusher is one of his favorite artists, and wanted to collaborate with him. Definitely not something you'd expect from those guys.

Agreed but in this case, I would be more worried about serotonin syndrome than a hypertensive crisis.

Hmm, even Google can't help us. I found the cache page with the posts but there's no option to view it. Even The Way Back Machine (searches for pages as they were in the past) doesn't help. Wasn't meant to be I guess.

Understood. I was just pointing out you take a long time to respond to PMs so I imagine you're quite busy, that's all.

Glad you liked it. I made a thread about it in Non-Electronic Music Discussion a while back. I've listened to at least one song from it every day since getting it. It's super catchy and a clever word smithery. Take a listen and post if you care to.

I might be able to do it from memory later, but this aMT and alcohol isn't helping matters right now.

It's my turn to cook dinner for the gf and her friend. I'm doing grilled brats, fresh fruit, and cottage cheese with iced tea. I'm not ready for summer to go away yet!

You were knocked out for the endoscopy? I was sober with only throat local anaesthetic spray. I assure you it is one hell of an odd feeling procedure.
 
@ Delsyd; I've got the same thing on; I never have to sign into BL on my computer; it does it automatically, but it also automatically signs off after 10 minutes or so of BL inactivity. I do stuff on my comp all the time; never sign into BL, but I'm still offline if I'm not actively browsing/posting.

I'm not saying anything, we do what we want obviously, but unless you're actually clicking BL links (connecting to the server from your IP); you'll be offline 10 minutes after your last server connection.

That's how it works for everyone with the "remember me" thing checked off.
