Is meth taking over our cities and drug scene? please read and comment

Canadas east coast isn't too bad yet although it's creeping in slowly.

Ottawas crack scene is slowly changing to speed/meth.

However Canadas west coast (BC and Alberta) has got a pretty bad meth problem :-(
 
I live in rural Kansas. The anhydrous tanks (like the one in my avatar) people steal it from to make meth (there are many other ways) are everywhere. I live in a town of about 300 people, and over the last 5 years I would guess 20 people have been arrested on manufacturing charges. That doesn't included the ones arrested for on other drug charges, or for buying to much psuedo, or the ones (like me) they haven't caught for anything. Also ice from Mexico is easy to get. The price of Mexican commericial weed has fallen from 35-40 dollars a quarter to 20 (15 for a friend). Of course we grow plenty of our own too.
Cocaine has fallen from,80 a gram to 50. Sorry to quote prices, I know it is against the rules, mods feel free to edit them out, but I thought it was important to show how meth has reduced demand (and thus price) of other drugs

the low price of crystal is probably fifty percent of the reason most people use it.

but hey if meth is going to lower the prices of other drugs... LETS GO METH!

Isn't "please read and comment" sort of implied with EVERY thread someone starts?"

I mean, who DOESNT want people to read their thread and comment?

Should I read and comment to any of your other threads, or just this one?
 
I live in an area of Alabama known as Meth Mountain.

You used to be able to open your front door and throw a rock and 10 times out of 10 you would hit a meth dealer.

But that all has changed. There is still meth around, but it isn't an epidemic like it used to be 2 years ago.

Nowadays it's all about those pills.

With the change in Oxycontin, I wonder if there will be a methsplosion again or if it will stay on the decline.

yes it's implied, however by posting "please read and comment" I had hopes that informed people would pay special attention and offer educated replies.

BUT.... thank you for being the only person with nothing better to do but be a dusche.

and P.S. Johnny boy.... I assume you have nothing better to do with your life, so go ahead and read my other threads and posts.

don't worry OP, i will find him. like i said i will find him and his father. i plan to rape them both. i'm gonna rip his fathers prostate out and feed it to him. i will cut off his moms nipples and use them as pepperonis on a pizza as well.

Yeah I don't wanna give meth a bad name. Meth is great drug. Gives me energy, helps with my cold, helps me stay in shape, makes me happy, I don't think ill ever quit meth
 
It's always been huge in Australia, but I've seen a quite noticeable surge in use the last 12 months or so within my city, there's a massive MDMA drought here in Australia and a lot of people who previously used it as their party drug of choice have swapped to meth looking for a buzz to keep them going at clubs/raves/parties. Of course meth has always been in this scene, but use has reached a whole new level since MDMA died out, even amongst the more mainstream club scene where it used to be less visible (compared to the rave/hard dance scene and the gay scene).

MDMA > meth for me anyday. I can see how it's still fun for partying and clubbing, but in a different way.

MDMA is just pure bliss (and a sprinkle of meth on the side is a good combo)

Except there is no MDMA. It's not a choice people are making, people are turning to meth because if you buy a pill you're getting at best a random mashup of RC's, and more likely either piperazines, a dud or just meth anyway.

MDMA is nonexistant, coke is exorbitantly priced and RC's are rare and difficult to import, so meth is the only real option if you want to party through the night.

Sounds like someone needs to take a break from meth, have a dose of anti-psychotics, and get some sleep...

theres plenty of time for sleep when i'm dead. until then i'll continue to tweak.
