The Deep thread

i dident read through the post and not sure if anyone mentioned this site but the guys from deepmix.ru put it down ... a ton of free mixes coming outta russia ...deep yet slammin if that a makes any sense

^^ Kerri is still redefining house today (bar a thym) and is one of my favourite garage remixers (along with Todd Edwards) Another old favourite of mine who does good remixes of classic records is Scott Grooves:-

This here is a great cover/remix of Gwen Guthrie's classic i've uploaded

Thornetta - Should da been u (Scott Grooves Mix)

Paul Woolford used to play it nearly every week at back2basics.

If that wasn't your pipe of nostalgic crack cocaine then check this out. It absolutely destroys every dancefloor i've heard it played on.

Sian - Dreams Are Maps (Paul Woolford's Wax Treatment Remix)

I honestly really like that song!!! - I bought it on cassette single at the time it was released - I still have it stored away somewhere :)

OMG I've just found out that that song was written and produced by Giorgio Moroder! All of a sudden I don't feel quite so embarrassed about liking it! I've been listening to a few Giorgio Moroder tracks on youtube tonight, and have loved most of them - I guess that shows how much I love naive melodies. And synths. Especially analogue synths. I <3 naive analogue synth melodies =D

Giorgio Moroder has done some amazing stuff. I remember me and a mate used to play a remix of the chase Giorgio Moroder - The Chase (2020 Soundsystem remix)

My windows stopped working, so I downloaded another form of windows to try and access my files and in doing so, it overwrote all of my existing files -____-

and yeah its pretty bad, 5 years of good music now gone!
If I've learned something, its that backing up my files every month or so is a very good idea

and yeah, made in the shade is awesome :)

i always use a 2nd drive for audio - means if anything happens to my C drive i can reinstall without losing anything other than settings. keep meaning to get a usb backup drive though.
