who likes dubstep?

I can respect this view. I can see how if you wanted D&B and they started filtering in random dub that would get old.. fast.

I was having this convo with a good friend just yesterday but I think it stems from the fact that the D&B artists are the ones starting to make Dubstep, so even tho IMO the two genres are as far apart as D&B is to house, that is why they put it in their sets.

To be honest I wish there were just two seperate stages, you feel me?

Dayn, Vermin, Dr Philth, BananaBomber, Ajapai, Cyberoptix, Diesel, JSaxton, Koan Sound, Vaski.
Gotta throw in the old school and mellow stuff too like Skream, Benga, Kromestar, Loefah, pretty much all of DubPolice (Trolley Snatcha, Emalkay, Caspa, etc.) and Circus Records (Doctor P, Funtcase, etc.)

I love dubstep, but I have to agree that when it takes over the D&B stage that can be annoying. Its weird because usually the electro/fidget stage plays some dubstep, and the d&b stage plays some dubstep and at neither places its the main event for what people came for, and some can get annoyed.
there is a simple solution though... MAKE A STAGE JUST FOR DUBSTEP! more and more massives are doing this, and its the best because no one is like "aww man why are they playing dubstep here" its the main event!

I cant really grab all the youtube links, but here are some more of my favorite tunes you should check out:

Emotionally Mute- Skream

Herbalist (dubstep remix) - Alborosie --this one i swear to god makes me smoke weed each time i listen to it... so make sure you have a bowl packed before you check it out.

Night- Benga and Coki -- this one has a sick music video thats legit to watch while blazed (after playing Herbalist :) )

Rain- Emalkay -- more grime, but still sick

I like to ballance all out mega dubstep (excision/datsik/doctor P) with more deep, darker dubstep which somehow feels more musical in a way... theres a lot of different styles of dubstep, and I think many only listen to one, and judge the whole genre based on that style.
For example, here are two extremely good, and extremely DIFFERENT dubstep tunes, listen to them both and they will show the versatility of the genre:

Doctor P- Sweet Shop

Kromestar- Iron dread

i can tell what style dubstep u listen to by your song. i also like that type. there more chill and not anywhere near "annoying" sounding. although im a fan of off the all dubstep that some would consider annoying.

Just to throw some controversy into this discussion, what do you guys think of Borgore?
on the one hand I think his music is retarded, with no regard to musicality or sanity in any way, but at the same time you have to admit he has skills in creating absolutely over the top shit... opinions?
