Rave Annoyances

Also people hating on alcohol... WTF you probably don't even know what drug you're on and you're hating on people for having some drinks?

I dont think people are hating on the fact that they drink at these events, its just the fact that dealing with an obviously hammered person isnt the best thing to do at a rave.

I really don't see a problem with getting hammered if you're not an angry drunk. And if you are it's your fault, not the alcohols. I get hammered at most raves because I go to college 4 days a week and can't afford to be stupid for three days after.

If you're throwing up everywhere and/or fighting then you probably shouldn't get hammered. but I think people should have a problem with dealing with irresponsible people in general, not just the ones who are irresponsible with alcohol. If you are irresponsible with drugs alcohol is probably your best bet, cause if you pop like 10 pills in a night you could dehydrate easily and will probably act like a creeper; if you do too much acid good luck not getting lost in the ghetto; if you drink to much you throw up and at the very worst black out and end up in first aide puking.

i dont care for creepers staring at any of the girls i am with, i take a general interest in others safety and perhaps a heightened interest in females general safety. so when i can see a guy is creepin around i dont have a problem defusing the situation. which is usually a pretty quick fix, and then its back to having a good time.

also, i am not a fan of those strangers who touch me randomly. please keep your hands to yourself and inside the cart at all times during the ride, thank you.

"can i have a pill?"i am sorry but, no you may not, i paid for these, buy your own.

and many more...

if youre not vomiting everywhere or fighting or acting obnoxious or doing any of the other negative aspects that people (myself included) do not like about people who are obviously hammered and ruining the vibe.

then people probably wouldnt even know youre drunk unless they saw you drinking. and they would probably have a great time with you whether you were rolling or not, and you would probably have a great time with others as well.

drinking isnt bad at a rave usually. and people dont go with the intention of ruining the vibe i am sure. but im sure we have all experienced what a belligerent drunk can do to the parties good vibe...

Still your problem is with that individual being stupid about whatever drug he chose to take. I'd rather watch someone throwing up from alcohol than watch someone that looks like they're about to drop dead from ecstasy. Seeing people carried away on stretchers kills the vibe alot mor for me than seeing someone stumbling and puking.

When people see someone who overdid it on alcohol they think "what an ass" but when they see someone who overdid it on e they think "omg how can I help this person.". A bit hypocritical from a scene who's general consensus is that alcohol is more harmful than ecstasy. If it's that harmful then take care of the person who's puking.

And even if it's not the worse case scenario, someone who's too fucked up on e but still functional is gonna act like a creeper, someone who's too drunk is gonna be an ass. I'd rather have a person telling everyone to fuck off than a person getting way to touchy and in my personal space. I've had gay guys come up and grab me and act like I was the asshole for
threatening them, I'm sorry but that's not ok you're ruining my time. If you leave a drunk person alone or walk away then he'll probably forget about you, if you try to walk away from a person on too much e who's in love with you for no good reason he'll annoy the shit out of you.

I'm not hating on e, and I do think being too drunk is annoying. You can have a good time with both and you can kill someone elses good time with both, it's the person that's the problem not thier drug of choice

I watched someone throwing up in the garbage can from drugs, my first time on e at a rave, I rubbed her back, made sure she was ok and asked her what she took so I made sure she was going to be ok. It didn't bother me or ruin my roll because I knew I was helping.

I went to an event I think everyone was getting piped. people vomiting all over. crazy shit. was gross, the whole crowd smelled like vomit and it was just gross. .. trying to make sure you don't step in any, in the dark, you know?

I hate venues that are too stupid to stock up on water.

This was actually in the VIP section where we had all the free drinks and gatorade we wanted. Not sure if people were throwing up in GA, but yeah, that's the risk you run when you buy at raves and don't test.

I can relate with peacefuldreamer, puking doesnt really put me off if i see someone doing it, im more worried about if their actually gunna survive, hell if someone has been puking for over 10-15min ill gladly buy them a glass of water. Keeps faith for people that dont think anyone around them cares. Definitely a big helper in that case

I know plenty of people who have puked from just dropping too much MDMA at once and the come-up makes them puke.

I've known a lot of people who puke on the come-up too. Just happens. And once it's over they're fine and feeling goooood...

Whereas people puking from drinking usually continue to do so and are usually done for the rest of the night as far as partying goes. I don't know, drinking and rolling just seem like two completely separate beasts that don't seem to mix. Don't get me wrong, I like to drink on occasion, even get completely smashed and act like a fool, but when I'm rolling, drunk people are... annoying. They seem SO much more fucked up than I am, even if I'm rolling balls. And when I'm rolling, drama seems non-existent, whereas (at least in my life) drinking almost always brings about some kind of drama.

To put it the simplest way I know how, rolling has this calm, peaceful, loving energy about it that still has the user in control. Drunkenness has this reckless, dumb, clumsy energy that seems out of control at many times. Which is fun, when you feel like being drunk. Which isn't when I feel like rolling.

It's true about drinking. I naturally such a nurturer anyway...hence my earlier comment. I have really only heard of one friend who threw up from ecstacy, at least that has told me about it. I rarely drink, simply because, I like to feel good without losing control of myself :)

qft.

When people ask you how high you are.

Idiot: "DUDE! Are you rolling balls? Are you tripping testacles up in this bitch? Are you twigging your tits out?"

Yeah. . . that's so annoying.

It also annoys me when I'm on acid and people ask me what they look like... You look like I'm on acid, leave me alone.

Also people blowing vics in my face, thanks asshole you just ruined my contacts.
