Weird looking shrooms

Hello forum. I don't post here often but I have a question. I am looking at some shrooms that are really hasty looking. They are really molding and just disgusting looking, far more so than usual. I am having a hard time picturing myself eating these. They seem to be so covered in mold that I worry we will get sick from it. They seem like they were not dried / stored properly and are still damp. They seem like they were just festering damp in the in baggies for who knows how long.

Is this unusual? Should I be worried? Should we dry them in the microwave? Even then, they will still be covered in this nasty blue mold. I am not a shrooms noob, so please don't anyone respond with comments such as "Of course they are nasty and moldy, that's what they are supposed to look like." These just look especially nasty and unappealing.

I read the forum guidelines and It didn't say anything about not posting a link to a picture, but I don't want to do that until someone says that is acceptable in this forum.

I'm assuming you just picked these? I wouldn't recommend eating them personally since you know they have other stuff growing on them (was tempted to call it contam as I'm used to cultivator language).

They were not picked by us. Should I post a link to a picture? These look fucking nasty as hell. I've never seen anything like this in ten years of doing these.
 
I personally wouldn't even eat shrooms that were picked outdoors unless they were ones I was growing. I don't really understand why people do it really cause they're often pretty nasty looking and growing is so inexpensive.

It might be better to ask this on Shroomery and show them the pic.
 
Post a picture, but it's always better to have an expensive decoration than to be puking up your taint and have the most sudden worst smelling explosive diherria you could imagine. Espescially since you're not just alone, imagine 3+ people all rushing for one toilet.

No. But I throw bread out when it has even the slightest trace of mold on it. Whereas I have eaten shrooms with small amount of mold on it.

But this is just worrisome.
 
If you insist on eating these disgusting peices of shit growth, at least consider an extraction to attempt to filter out the mold.
 
Also, these are still damp. What's the best way to dry them?

We can't seem to come to an agreement on whether it is a good idea to eat these.
 
The microwave seems to do the trick for drying them. Why the fuck weren't these dried properly in the first place !?
 
You should do a high-percent alhocol extraction (recommend Everclear, or something ingestable). This way, you dissolve the psilocybin along with killing the mold (I think), and the bonus is at the end you can decide whether to dilute the alcohol for drinking, or evaporate to leave psilocybin-containing extract.
