I used to love lorazepam. It was my favorite benzo for a little bit, though that's changed now. It feels like getting drunk without the mental handicap, and nausea in my opinion.

I would just start slow with them, take 1-2mg and make sure not to mix them with any other substances(other than weed of course).

I would also say it is very not "trippy". It is a nice clear headed high that relieves your anxieties, and helps sleep. Definitely a useful substance in the world. Be safe and have fun.

do you mean 5mgs or .5mgs? 5mg of ativan with no tolerance will have you beyond jammed... you will be blacked out and then pass out for about 12-24 hours.

.5mg-1.5mg is a good start, not 5mg!

personally i don't really get "high" off benzos, but the relief they give if taken while anxious or before going into an anxiety-provoking situation is quite pleasurable. definitely enjoyable in those situations.

if taken, let's say, in your own apartment at night when not anxious they really aren't all that recreational IME.

I'm one of those lucky people that trip off of lorazepam and ambien. i get a complete out of body experience, everything is amazingly soft, mirrors will be fascinating on 5mg. my boy found 2 full 90 tab prescription bottles of Ativan(lorazepam) and had us tripppiiiin and starin into a mirror for a couple hours which seemed like minuets. Just be careful because you will want more, and you might have a pretty bad hangover the next day if its your fist time with benzo's. Enjoy my friend(;

Has anybody else tripped off of lorazepam to the point where they were hallucinating, or is there maybe something in the water in Philly that made it possible for Alprazolam and friend to trip off of it, seeing creatures flying through the night sky?

Ok shut up alprazolam LOL JK. No Seriously though you don't trip, you cant trip, it doesn't make you "trip". Tripping is Not the same as spacing out and getting real relaxed and floaty 8). I hate hearing stupid things such as this. They give you Ativan in Crazy houses. Why on earth would they give someone who needs to be in a ward Ativan shots in your ass if it was going to make them trip. Ativan is just a extremely good, and very effective anxiety medication, and one of my favorite (in the top 3, probably number 2). At high doses of Ativan I feel great unlike other medication like Xanax. I actually get more sedated from Ativan at 4mgs than I do with xanax at 4mgs. Personal experience but its just great stuff. I would go pretty far for some ativan 2mg tabs. Those are great at relieving anxiety of any time and great for sleep and to me up there with temazepam (which is number 1 at anxiety on my list ) :D
